Works Amazingly Well — Fast, Precise, and a Total Time-Saver!
I bought the Dremel 569 1/16" Grout Removal Bit to refresh the grout lines in my bathroom, and I’m honestly impressed. This tiny bit packs a punch! It cuts through old grout quickly and cleanly, and the narrow size makes it perfect for getting into tight spaces without damaging surrounding tiles. I paired it with my Dremel rotary tool, and the control was excellent—much easier than using a manual grout saw. What would’ve taken hours by hand took just minutes. It stays sharp, doesn’t overheat easily, and gives super precise results. If you’re tackling any grout repair or regrouting project, this bit is absolutely worth it. Great quality, great price, and a huge improvement in efficiency. I highly recommend it!

Way better than the "same" item that's in stock at Home Depot
I bought one of these last week locally at HD, and then ordered this one here after the HD one wore out in about 10 standard 5"x5" tiles worth of work and it became clear that I'd need more than one and probably a ton of these bits to regrout the shower. I didn't want to order a ton of these on Amazon right off the bat, because you can never be quite sure what's in stock here. Sometimes it's some weird counterfeit product that isn't as good as the real thing. I wish I *had* ordered a ton, though, because the first one absolutely TORE through about a third of the shower's grouting job before I burned the rechargeable Dremel I was using out. That's right - the Dremel (7 years old, to be fair) died before the bit dulled. LOL. RIP, 'lil Dremel, long live your plug-in replacement. I tragically dropped the Amazon-sourced bit as I was taking it off of the dead Dremel, and the tip snapped off of it, but I had already stopped mid-job and ordered another one after seeing what it was capable of. Now I have to work with another Home Depot one until that one arrives. :( Guess I'll see if the next HD one can get through 6 tiles worth of grout this time.

Works well but slow and not durable.
The good - works really well, does not damage the tiles (unless you really try to) The bad - not durable. It is going to break sooner or later. If you intead to use for a large area (more than several tiles) be prepared to buy more bits. Another downside is it's slow.

Works awesome
Just a few things first. I have an old school Craftsman rotary tool I inherited that I used with this grout bit. I obviously didn't use it with the Dremel guide. Even if I had a Dremel I don't think I'd use the guide. I have been using it to rough up and get some of the 40 year old grout out so I can just regrout over it. Retiling is not a job I want to tackle at this point. I found that if I kept the bit at an angle and pulled towards me it did a great job. I bought two bits and I've almost completely finished with all the horizontal grout lines and I'm still on the first bit. I have been taking my time so the tool and bit doesn't get too hot. I tried several other methods before using this bit and it has made this job so much easier. I definitely recommend 👌

Works Amazing!
I bought so many different bits to work on a bathroom shower and tub surround, all covered in 3" tiles. None of them did what I wanted until I bought this one. I just finished the entire area with 1 bit! I pushed as hard or as light as I could depending where I was and it never broke. I am using a dremmel 4000 on low because that's honestly as fast as it needed to go to do the job. Already ordering more just to have!

Worked great and good price
This bit worked great to grind the grout but you need to be very careful to stay in the grout and not on the tile, it seemed to work better at lower dremel speed and I had more control. This bit ate up the grout very quickly and once I got the hang of it I was able to do a very nice smooth grout removal lines. Looked great when I put the new grout in. Be careful at first and take your time learning how to use these bits, it's worth going slow at first and then you can zip through it once you're comfortable with it.

Worked great until it broke
Worked GREAT at grout removal... until it broke. You have to be able to put some pressure on the bit, and it handled some pressure for about 30- 45 minutes of grinding out small areas in the shower grout... not continuous grinding, but stop and go. I have uneven grout lines with thick and thin areas so I had to look for areas that were thin enough to use this. I've seen that once the bits get too hot they either break or get dull. ... or maybe the dullness causes excessive heat? My shower is not big...I feel like I would need about 10 or more of these to get through it and i don't have a bunch of 1/16" lines. The 1/8" ones work better... because they are thicker and don't break as easily.

Great price compared to hardware store
Great price compared to hardware store, especially if you purchase the multipack. Great product if you already own a Dremel or another brand of rotary tool, I own a Craftsman and it worked perfectly. So much faster than using a grout cutter or razor blades. If you have a large area to remove grout from or an area with a ton of grout, I used to remove grout from a 5 foot by 3 foot shower floor that had 1 inch hex tile so there were a ton of grout lines to remove, buy a lot. They are good for about 30 minutes of cutting. Go slow when cutting or you will snap it in half. Do not waste your time or money purchasing the grout cutting attachment/guide, it is very easy to freehand; even if you do not have a steady hand like me.

Worked great. Need to be careful 1/32 is pretty small and you can break them. Shower stall was about 2.5x3.5. Removed all grout. Used four of them. 4" tile in walls. You do wear them out but a fraction of the time had I used the hand too
