Faithful reproduction of the original...
My big sister gave me an original Corgi Yellow Submarine back in the early 80s when I moved into my flat. You do your mate a kindness by putting him up for a couple of weeks until he finds his own place and what does he do?...nicks my Yellow Submarine - thanks mate. The only major difference between this and the original is the hatches are yellow and not red. Good price... only to find it dropped two quid a day after ordering...ho hum. Happy bunny anyway.

Beautiful Childhood Yellow Submarine Model
Simply Beautiful!!! All my childhood memories came back. I actually had the original yellow submarine back in 1969, I think one year after the film was released. I was only five at the time. It got lost somewhere and I was crying. Now, after all those years, I suddenly saw it on Amazon; the perfect replica. And this time, I will treasure it and keep it very safe in front of me. A nice little memory from the 1960s
I decided to treat myself to this having received one for a present back in the 1960s. It brought back some wonderful childhood memories, with the four Beatles popping up out of hatches at the switch of a button! I wish I'd kept the original but sadly it got thrown out along with all my other corgi models as soon as I grew up and left home. For all of us who are still kids at heart this is a nice little model.

Good, fun Model
An excellent replication the the Yellow Submarine. As other customers have said, the black buttons on the side must be pushed down for the Beatles to pop out. The periscopes at the top need to be adjusted so they fit deeper in order for them to revolve. Recommended if you're a fan of the film as the packaging is good too. Mine's staying in the box!
