Dim Sum: Dumplings, parcels and other delectable Chinese snacks in 25 authentic recipes

Looking forward to spending time with my steamer and make some.

I ordered three different dim sum books, and this little gem is my favorite. I returned one (Dumplings All Day Wong) because it had way too many recipes (TMI: too much information), both traditional and non-traditional. All I wanted was the basics, and Terry Tan's book provided everything I needed. It is a small, padded book (7"x7"x3/8") with adequate detail, and recipes seem easy to follow.

The book is pretty good and tells a lot about Dim Sum

such a variety of dim sum and measurements are both metric and normal (tablespoon, teaspoon, cup etc). vegetarian, seafood and pork.

Fiance loved the gift! Lots of recipes we cant wait to make!!

This was purchased to go as a companion to a bamboo steamer present given to my vegetarian daughter. The book is laughably tiny and not very many recipes at all.

Fun, and easy to follow, though not necessarily easy to perfect.

Zeer oninteressante recepten, verouderd en ook niet erg haalbaar (de meeste ingredienten kan je niet in de supermarkt vinden). Geen aanrader

I love dim sums but had never made them. They aren't cheap to buy so I decided to find out how to make my own. This book has clear, easy-to-follow recipes that produce amazingly good dim sums. The small-sized hardback book is easy to store to hand in the kitchen, and it has a wipe clean cover.

Could use a few more traditional non-vegetarian one.
