This ruler has been been very useful for me. I love the contrast between the black aluminum and the white lettering. This makes it very easy to read, I recommend for any architect or student.

The smooth slick surface of metal slides easy on paper making it difficult to use without it moving. You have to apply firmer pressure than with the plastic scales. Kind of a minor issue and that's why I knocked one star off
