Ear Defenders with DAB+/FM Radio & Bluetooth 5.3, Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones for Workshop, Garden/Mowing,SNR 30dB

This is a great bit of kit. Good long battery life (USB rechargeable). They have a padded headband and are comfortable to wear for long periods. The ear defenders block out the sound of petrol strimming and lawn mowing effectively. The quality of the radio and bluetooth audio is excellent (and it was quick to pair with my phone). The radio is easy to tune and you can save 30 preset stations each for both DAB and FM. The volume control is a decent size so you can adjust it without removing the ear defenders from your head or taking protective gloves off. The first set we received had a faulty volume control - but after an email to Protear they sent a replacement headset within 3 days. Thank you.

Very comfortable to wear, I wear them for long periods of the day using a variety of garden machinery. Good dab reception on them plenty of volume to hear the music or radio over the machine noise. Also good noise reduction which is the main reason I bought them. A lot of money but worth it you get what you pay for. Good connection with bluetooth I use my phone for music too. Easy to clean down sweat on them too.

Bought these as you'd expect for use in the workshop, cuts machine sound down quite well, the FM radio works fine but the DAB is very hit and miss. Edit - after light use the on/off button on these has stopped working, very frustrating as it's outside the warranty but given the limited use these have had I thought they would have lasted longer.

Good quality and excellent sound. Although your adding more volume to hear over the noise of machinery. So still exposed to load noise. I found the buttons to small. Volume is OK. but with gloves on or like me hard hands from life time of labouring, I could not feel which one to press. So had to take of the headset to answer the phone ot change channel.

Have to say I love these ear defenders. Being able to listen to the radio or my own tunes has been great during my diy project. Having a choice of dab, fm and Bluetooth is really good. Allowed me to listen to ECFC while working. Their customer service has also been really helpful when I had an issue. Replied very quickly to my question. Good stuff.

The headphones are well designed, comfortable, the noise cancelling is more than adequate and the bluetooth works fine and is easy to set up. Unfortunately, I have not been able to obtain a satisfactory level of quality with the radio reception, either on DAB or FM. Obviously, this could be related to the area I live in but I do not typically have the same issue with other radios. I can usually find a position where the reception is adequate for most stations but as soon as I move my head, it starts to break up. A bit of a problem for a product intended to be used whilst gardening etc. Great idea but flawed execution.

I am very impressed with the headphones. They are comfortable to wear, easy to operate and I find the sound quality is loud enough and good quality. The only alteration I have made is to secure the aerial to the frame with a small cable tie. I often work in close cover and am concerned branches might pull against the antennae. An excellent Purchase!

This item is well built and feel sturdy, it has great sound quality, the battery has lasted two 12 hour shifts needs a charge now. The are tight enough fit not to fall off but not too tight that is hurts after a while. The DAB tuning is a pain to start but after contacting the seller they sent me some instructions and within two minutes had around 30 stations to choose from. Bluetooth is very easy to setup, once paired you can listen to music and take phone calls Definitely recommend, they are quite pricey but I wanted Bluetooth functionality and DAB for the better sound quality. Overall great product would definitely buy these again.

Bisher hatte ich immer diesen einfachen, gelben Gehörschutz. Da ich aber immer öfter mit der Kreissäge arbeite und diese auf Dauer wirklich laut ist, dachte ich mir, dass ich mir jetzt zu Weihnachten einen Premium Gehörschutz gönne. Was soll ich sagen ?! Dieser Gehörschutz ist tatsächlich Premium. Der Tragekomfort ist sehr gut, ich kann ihn perfekt für meine Kopfform anpassen. Auch ein längeres Tragen ist nicht unangenehm. Auch ohne Radio funktioniert der Gehörschutz gut, indem er die schlimmsten und lautesten Geräusche wegfiltert. Man ist jetzt nicht völlig taub, was ich aber gut finde, denn so weiß ich noch was in meiner Umwelt abgeht. Wenn ich völlig nichts hören will, dann schalte ich das Highlight von dem Gehörschutz an: das Radio. Mit DAB kann jeder seinen Sender finden und der Empfang sowie der Sound sind wirklich gut. Ich kann jedem so ein Gehörschutz empfehlen, der öfter mal einen brauch und sich mal etwas feines gönnen will.

Le casque filtre bien le bruit, il est très confortable. Les matériaux sont de bonne qualité. La radio et le bluetooth sont très efficaces. C'est un bon achat que je recommande.

Dopo qualche mese non funzionava ma e' stato sostituito con uno nuovo immediatamente. Ottimo servizio post vendita

Het toestel werkte niet meer na een 3-tal maand. Contact opgenomen met de klantendienst. Na een vlug antwoord is er ook vlug een oplossing gevonden voor het probleem. Ik ben zeer tevreden

Het stof om je oren word heel snel warm waardoor het niet fijn is om te dragen. Verder hebben alle functies het 3 maanden goed gedaan nu kan ik nog alleen maar muziek luister via Bluetooth.
