I kept. Leaving the first one behind I traveled, so I got this one to just keep in my travel bag. I have become so used to using it that I have trouble putting on my makeup without it. I also use it for some non traditional things like checking the dressing on my foot after minor surgery, turning it sideways to check my eye makeup, and sideways to check for errant hairs under my chin.The mirror is very clear and since the main mirror is not magnified I can use for things a magnifying mirror cannot.do because of distancing problems.I am pleased with its size when folded as that makes it easy to pack when I need to travel. When at home It is attractive sitting on my vanity and the little dish at its base is surprisingly useful. I really like the fact that the lights work from both batteries and USB, a great feature. The lights are very nice for providing whatever level of illumination I want. I also think that the mirror is very reasonably priced.I would definitely recommend this to friends. This is an item would make a great gift for any teenage girl or woman (if it came in grey - for men, as well), or purchase again for myself, (obviously) if needed.Both of my daughters have said they want one,so I plan on this as part of their ChristmasUpdate: 11/10/2020 I just wanted to add the mirror is light enough to hold up, with your back to a large mirror to see the back of your head. Recently I had some minor surgery on the bottom of my foot. This mirror was perfect to see to be able to change the dressing. I just put it on the floor, turned it until the angle was right, and I was good to go. The last use I discovered was to turn it sideways and with some adjustments to the angle of the side mirrors, I was able to check my eye make up to be sure I had applied everything the way I wanted. It’s a nice little pop of color in my room.Quality: It is made of plastic, but I like how it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna break if you tilt it this way or that. Very pleased for the price.Mirrors: As I said, I can see my whole face in the center and right side mirror. The left side mirror are great for focusing on one part of your face. It also comes with a small circular 10x mirror that I stuck on the bottom of the right side mirror. The lights on this thing are super bright and well spaced and really help me see what I'm doing. I kind of wish the left side of the mirror wasn't two different magnifications the way the right side is. It makes it a little more work to see how my sides compare. There circle part shown in the pictures is a 10x removable suction cup mirror. I prefer keeping it out of the way and just using the regular mirror. One downside is that you either need batteries or to have it plugged in by usb. I was thinking the usb would charge it but that isn't the case. Overall, the things I would improve have less to do with the product itself and more of what I use/need.
