Can I hook this up to a propane tank at 20 psi?

not sure of the psi, but i have a 250 gal propane tank out in my back yard. it has a pressure regulator on it, but is too high for a propane range. this regulator goes onto the propane range, and lowers the psi even lower. the regulator on my propane tank is too much pressure for the little propane gas cook top for my double wide mobile home.

Is the outlet pressure adjustable with the regulator?

I am not sure if it is adjustable, my apologies. Just in case this helps you - This worked perfect for my new propane gas range / cook top, in my double wide mobile home. Put in my propane jets and attached this to it.

No. This is for home appliances. For an appliance with that much gas flow, *for your own safety* you need a professional/commercial regulator, installed by a gas piping pro with the proper tools and instruments, who can ensure all parts of the system are up to code, pressurized properly, leak-free, and SAFE - hey, I like to do all my own stuff, too, but that much flow? One leak, one spark, in the wrong place could flatten an entire home

Works Well

So far so good. It is about the same dimensions as the original in my Whirlpool gas cooktop that is around 8 years old. The only thing is the gas out part of the original regular was 3/8" (so is the gas in for the stove). It is hard to reach, and didn't want to take it out until I had a new regulator in hand, but could have used my phone to take a picture of the top and bottom of the original without taking it out, and I would have been able to see the size difference. No big deal though, I bought a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter for a few dollars at the hardware store.

No documentation, incorrect description

No documentation just the part in a baggie. Says Nat Gas or LP (some regulators have reversible spring screw so u can use both, the description seems to say that) but no telling if thats true r which is which. I should have know not to buy when the description says a 1/2" NPT pipe is 1" OD (it's not). Returning.
