3M Precise Mouse Pad Enhances the Precision of Optical Mice at Fast Speeds, Easy to Clean, Stays in Place, 9 in x 8 in (MP114-BSD1)

I never thought I would want to write a review of a mouse pad but this one is amazing. My Apple Magic Mouse gets laggy and has trouble with many mouse pads, especially any that are rubbery or fabric or fabric-like. It seems to need a reflective surface. I had a metal (aluminum) mouse pad, but it made a horrible scratching noise whenever I moved the mouse. This one works better than any. My Apple Magic Mouse has zero lag and zero issues. It's silent. Good size. I actually really like the texture, and it grips the the table well. I'm buying one for all of my work stations.

I was looking for a mouse pad that was not fabric, something with more of a plastic surface and this one fits the bill. Mouse works well on it.

I spent a lot of time researching mouse pads and decided to give this a try, I'm so happy that I did because it's perfect. 3M is known for making great products and this is no exception. The surface is a hard plastic type material with a slight texture and a unique white and silver pattern that is designed to increase the reflectivity for an optical mouse, it also has good traction for a ball mouse. This provides more precision when using the mouse and also reduces the amount of battery power that an optical mouse requires. It is not a fabric, and this plastic is very wipeable if you spill anything on it or want to clean it. Due to it not being a fabric it is very easy to sanitize and keep clean as it will not absorb oils and dirt from your palm and fingertips. The bottom of the mouse pad is a soft rubber with texture, it grips well, it does have a slight odor to it. The entire mouse pad is about as thick as a quarter, which is fine with me because I don't like thick mouse pads. It appears to be very durable, one thing I would note though is that the label says that it is made with natural latex rubber which some people may have sensitivity to. Quick update, if you fold or flex this and it creases, the crease isn't going come out. So lay it flat and leave it flat.

The mouse pad has a simple design that I really like, and I can feel the mouse movement is faster and smoother compared to the thicker black pad I used before.

When placing this order I noticed that Amazon mentioned "last purchased Feb 2018" so I can assure you this is a long lasting product! I have used several of these over the years, both at work and at home, where they get used for many hours every day. Very smooth surface, works perfectly with optical and mechanical mice.

The surface tracks well with optical mice and gives a noticeable boost in precision at faster speeds. It stays in place without sliding and is easy to wipe clean. The only minor drawback is that it feels thinner than expected, but performance makes up for it. A solid upgrade for daily use.

When I saw all the reviews, I decided to purchase one of these mouse pads and I am so glad that I did! It's also very easy to wipe clean. The bottom is a thin foam layer that grips the desk surface to prevent sliding around. The size is perfect, with enough room to move the mouse and not slide off the edge. This is a high-quality mouse pad and the best I have been able to find. I would recommend this for the average user or those who do technical work and need the mouse to be very precise.

It works as it should. I've previously used a 3M mouse pad with wrist which my new mouse didn't like. It had a slight curl up at the sides, so the mouse didn't pick up the movement properly. 3M Precise Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest, Soothing Gel Comfort with Durable, Easy to Clean Leatherette Cover, Optical Mouse Performance and Battery Saving Design, 8.6" x 6.8", Black (MW309LE) I can't comment about extended battery since my mouse is wired. But for the 2 months of using this, it has not curled up, nor slide around. The surface hasn't picked up any dirt, and so far still looks like new (this is my work mouse pad, so it gets used M-F). I could see this mouse pad last quite a while, unlike the clothed ones.

I searched for a good quality and durable mouse pad for a long time until i saw this. I used many mouse pads in 500 rs range and none of them lasted more than 2 months . I was looking for a compact and small size as it fits well and covers enough area for mouse movements. Pros: 1- Super quality and build, 3M brand is needleless to say awesome. 2- Grip is amazing, once placed well in table surface, it does not move bit even if you move mouse heavily 3- The surface so smooth and texture is so nice that mouse movement becomes 50% faster than any other mouse pad. 4- Energy efficient or not but I feel due to the smooth surface faster movement, it really needs less battery power as the tracking light.sensor is the main thing in a mouse that being used and drains battery if surface is not good. 5- by the build quality it will surely last for a long 6- I am a occasional gamer and I feel great precision in mouse while playing games .
