will it work on a very lightly textured case like an otter box?

Yes, it will stick. My spouse and I both use popsockets on our otterbox phone cases. I even painted and sealed my case and the popsocket is still holding strong!

what is the difference between the aluminum black and black? different materials or title just to double product price?

The black pop socket has a plastic top. The aluminum, I would assume, is metal.

Will this work on iPhone 13 pro?

I would think so. I use it with my iPhone 11 and it works just great.
