Low Quality -- Will Topple Easily
Do not buy this garment rack if you actually want to hang clothes on it. It is poorly constructed and has little support. Mine tipped over within minutes of assembly. I tried to use Duct tape to hold it together, but it toppled again within a day.This rack may be cheap, but you're better off saving your money and buying a higher quality rack that will actually stand upright.

The customer is not always right...
Ok, I wanted a cheap rack for my shorts and I bought this with trepidation given the bad reviews. Having received it I'm very happy with it. I'd make these points:- You will not get the "winged" version with the top bar coming out at the sides which appears in some pictures.- When you put it together you need to use some force: there are no screws or bolts or whatever and the metal bits fit snugly and securely into their holes, but you have to force them right in.- It has its limitations if you want to put may lbs of junk on it, I'm using it for shirts. I'd guess it will take about 30lbs or so of clothes distributed evenly.- For added stability don't mount the wheels.- The bars used in this product are quite wide and sturdy.A lot of the reviews here are a bit over the top. This is perfectly decent quality for the price (I paid $16.50) but you have to put it together properly. If you are enfeebled in some way you might want to find someone to help you.

perfect for our needs
Without the wheels it is totally stable. We put it in its lowest height and placed it in a dorm room atop a piece of plywood over a dresser (no closet). Works great.
