Perfect
As the other reviewers shared, this is perfect for the Rowenta Iron. However, the ironing board holder is more for the Brabantia ironing board, but I knew this from all the reviews I had read prior to purchasing. I am a bit of a Jack of all trades, and I figured I would come up with a solution once I had the holder in hand. Once the holder was mounted, I attempted to hang my cheap Walmart-purchased ironing board up. As the other reviewers had already shared, it was a no go. I wasn't going to purchase a new ironing board just to fit this thing when the one I have is still in great shape. So I figured I needed to attach another hanger to either the ironing board or the holder without compromising the original design. Well, we had purchased one of those large folding metal dish drying racks from Ikea. The dish drying rack came with two metal arms with hooks on both ends that I assumed was supposed to keep the drying rack from folding once in the drying position. Well, that was a design overkill since the rack was staying open fine without the detachable two arms. Since these metal arms were simply sitting under the kitchen sink without a purpose, I decided to repurpose them. I also salvaged a number of grey rubberlike bands from a large printer from a former work place after a printer technician serviced the machine. He didn't properly disposed of the bands after each servicing, so I kept the bands as a possible future solution...I'm like that. They were still in great shape, but probably not to the standards required for printer operations. And so armed with the metal arms from a large Ikea drying rack and the 1.5 inch wide with a 1/2 inch diameter grey rubberband material from the serviced printer, I had my solution to the hanging problem at home. I slid two of the printer bands over the two Ikea metal arms. I placed the Y legs of the ironing board between both ends of the two Ikea Metal arms, and I locked the metal arms together with their hooks already part of the arms' design. This is now attached to the ironing board indefinitely until I need to purchase a new board in which event I would simply transfer the contraption over to the new board if it is another Y leg. This addition to the ironing board allows the Y legs to have a horizontal surface that the Brabantia holder easily grabs and holds. The printer bands offer a nonslip center surface while resting on the Brabantis holder as well as holds the two Ikea metal arms together around the Y legs of the board. No nailing. No gluing...just two items...pretty and effective. Or, you could do this with a cheap, dry cleaner metal hanger...all you truly need to get a Y leg to fit this Brabantia holder is a coat hanger. Straighten the coat hanger. Go down about four inches from where the Y legs join the single leg support attached to the board. Wrap the coat hanger around the Y legs in a 'figure eight' pattern 4 inches down from where the Y legs meet the single leg post. Twist the remaining loose ends of the coat hanger together or back into the remaining 'figure eight.' Try to get the loose end tucked and secured so that it doesn't scratch you or get caught on clothes while ironing. And make sure this is on the Y legs that will be hanging in the 'up' position when the board is hanging. No nailing, no gluing, no extra cost...just one item. Aint pretty, but functional if you don't want to replace the old ironing board that has the Y legs.

So far, so good; holding a REALLY heavy board on hollow door
Definitely should have three screws, i.e., a third one at top. Having said that, it's currently holding our new Brabantia "C" ironing board (that's the wide one, 18 inches), with a laundry shelf at one end and an iron rest at the other. The gap seems really wide between the iron holder and the hooks underneath that hold the board, until you try to hang a board like ours that has either the laundry shelf or iron rest sticking way up. But there's just enough vertical clearance to slip the hanging bar over the hooks no matter which end, see photos. Our door is 78 3/4 inches long, 30 inches wide. Our Rowenta iron is really tall, about 11.5 inches, and its top point is about an inch down from the top of the door, and the end of the board is about 2 inches up from the bottom of the door. I don't think there are many longer irons, or boards, out there, so I think it would fit your average door. It protrudes about 5.5 inches into the closet, so it would have to be either a closet without shelves or one like ours, designed as a linen closet where the front edge of the shelves don't come all the way to the door. Our door is hollow-core, although my husband commented that "it's really old, so the thickness of the solid part before it gets to the hollow part is better than modern ones." So, we've hung it without screw anchors. I'll update if there's a significant change after my kids slam it open and closed a million times a day.

Great one-size fits all holder
I'd say this was more than I wanted or expected to spend on a replacement iron holder. My previous one was a cheap Rubbermaid, however the only new ironing boards I could find weren't the traditional T-bar feet - which didn't work with that holder. This holder is of high quality - has a sweet eruopean design to it. The metal basket is great and will fit my iron, with the cord wrapped around it. It's more of a "shelf", which is great so its not too tight even on a larger iron like our Rowenta. The board holder is springy enough I was able to squeeze it together to fit into the crossbar on my dumb Y-legged ironing board. Back to normal with everything hanging properly. Only downside was that the mounting was somewhat more difficult as the base piece came already put in, so you need some kind of extension to get in there with a power-drill.

It's hot! (Yup, that's good!)
Anything that helps me organize is fabulous. My laundry room is smaller than I'm used to and there is no where to leave the ironing board up. Having it perched again the wall was less than ideal; this wall mounting ironing table holder is really easy to use and install. It took me awhile to find one that I like especially in regards to the reviews. This one is sturdy and I'm very pleased with it. I know it's a good choice because it's attached to the laundry room door and my children are in and out of there, and no one complains. It's a true test of how good it is! I also bought the Spectrum 33300 Mop And Broom Organizer at the same time and I'm really pleased at how the organization in the laundry room is turning out.

Solid Product
Sturdy and worth the price. Has a heavier plastic, quality feel to it. Product looks great on the wall in my sewing room. Easy to install. Just the usual pain installing on drywall. I have one screw into a stud and an anchor behind the other. Both screw holes are elongated to allow for leveling adjustment. One is vertically elongated and one is horizontal. I installed it at a height where the bottom legs of the ironing board hit the baseboard when it is hanging. The holder keeps the top legs off the wall very nicely. So, no marks on the wall. My ironing board has T-shaped legs with a diagonal brace at the bottom. Fits just fine.

Great Quality
Yes - this is a good product. It was easy to install and it's sturdy and holds both the iron and the ironing board. I recommend either ensuring that you hit the wall studs or use a header-board as I did and then mount this to the board to ensure it is on the wall securely. A header-board is just a 1x4 that you screw to the wall where you know there are studs like at the corners.

Great Product!
We moved into a place that has a lot less room than our previous house, so what better place to put an iron but on the wall? Although it's plastic and not metal as I had originally thought, it's still sturdy, and it holds my Sunbeam iron quite nicely. I wrap my cord around the piece that's supposed to hang the ironing board, so I can't address how well it holds a board. Also, I wasn't crazy about the black, so I painted it with some heat resistant silver paint, and it looks much nicer. For me, it serves the purpose for which it was intended, and I'm just happy to have some extra space where my iron was.

Go buy yourself better wall anchors prior to installation
Seems very good, nice and solid. Installation should be a breeze, but they provide the worst wall anchors - the ones that push through the wall when you start screwing the screw in. Do yourself a solid and go buy better ones with a flange on them, or better yet the white self tapping anchors with a flange that screw in. For the cost of this holder the company could afford to pony up another 50 cents for better anchors.

The only one I could find to fit my iron
This product is great because it actually fits my iron! I have a generic iron but the other holders I looked at and actually had to return were all too small. I also think wrapping the cord of the iron in this way is easier and less time consuming than on other models. I am only five foot (with a normal large sized ironing board) and I have had no problem, unlike other reviewers, with the height of it. Great quality! a bit on the expensive side.

Perfect solution for home arrangement
This is very sturdy iron board and iron holder. My board apparently is heavy duty and this holder is perfectly capable to hold both the board and the iron. Very happy with the purchase and it’s a great value for money.

Vårt ångstrykjärn passar perfekt i hållaren. Hållaren tål upp till 220 graders värme. Det medföljer skruv och plugg. Känns som ett bra köp.
