My dog Sweetie is gentle and spoiled because she's a pit rescue who's very fearful. Formerly, she was bred repeatedly by some lowlife, sociopath and her puppies always taken too early. Eventually they tossed her aside, dumping her in our neighborhood where she frantically ran full-speed for almost 2 weeks. She wouldn't come to anyone and although we put out food for her, she never ate much of any. Personally, I think she was looking for her pups, as she was still making milk. 😥😳Finally, exhausted and skinny she had to stop. She walked up to the pit rescue we already had and touched noses with the older female. We opened that gate and she never tried to leave. She's a wonderful companion but quite skiddish when confronted with loud noises or different surroundings. She starts shaking and just freezes in terror.Almost every change in the household, she notices and is wary about for a while.These treats have been a godsend because she absolutely loves them, so they help us when trying to desensitize her to some new fear.We show her about 1/3 of one, while getting her all excited and happy. Then, we encourage her to walk by whatever new "threat" seems to be challenging her feelings of safety, still staying close and using the treat as bait!When she overcomes her fear, we praise her and give her the other 2/3 of the treat. Sweetie is much better adjusted and happier since we discovered these wonderfully soft, chewy treats!

I am always looking for a high-reward training treat I can keep in my pocket and this treat provides that. When you break pieces off, it does not crumble and my dogs love it. I can even keep a piece in my mouth w/out vomiting ;) The ONLY downside of this product is cost. I would absolutely always keep this on-hand if it were more reasonably priced.

I purchased 4 bags of these in Sept 2023 for 23.99 each. I come back to reorder and see them selling for over $60!!!!! $75 on ebay. I have no idea what is going on but there is no way I am buying these ever again for that kind of price increase. Yes they are great and the dogs love them, but the price is outrageous
