⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 StarsI’ve tried many shampoos and conditioners over the years, and L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 has become one of my favorites. My hair tends to be dry and prone to damage from heat styling, and this product leaves it feeling noticeably softer and smoother after each use.I love that it cleans well without making my hair feel stripped or weighed down. My hair is easier to brush, looks shinier, and feels healthier overall. It also helps reduce frizz and makes my ends look less dry.The scent is pleasant without being overwhelming, and the price is very reasonable for the results. I’ve continued to repurchase it because it consistently leaves my hair looking and feeling its best.I would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with dry or damaged hair who wants an affordable product that works well.

I’m already in love. As soon as it got here I tried it out. It smells AMAZING. I’m already addicted to the fragrance. This mask is very thick and rich which I love for my 4c hair. A little goes a very long way if you emulsify it in your hands before applying it to your hair, it will apply evenly and works into the hair beautifully. Made my hair extremely soft. I need to try it a few more times, but I think this may be a new staple.

This product is top of the line; the value is incredible. It works just as well as products 3 times the cost. The smell is enjoyable, but not overwhelming, and will not interfere with your perfume. When you are finished, you will keep touching your hair constantly because you won’t believe how soft, supple, luscious, and bouncy your hair becomes after using, even just once. Some products of the specific formula line difficult to find in be US, so I just ordered this one part of the set. Because availability is simpler, I combined this product with the conditioner and pre-treatment of the Redken Acidic Bonding Ccnditioning line. As I have gotten older, my hair has turned white great only around the edge of my hairline. As a result, I color my hair light blonde to match my natural color (before grey). This product helps keep my hair soft, supple, and tangle-free, which is really important. I have very fine thin hair, and it’s very easy to saturate my hair in products resulting in a oily mess. I have to be careful about which products and how much I use in my hair. There is a very long list of products that are great, but in my hair they leave it instantly oily. Amazingly, this product does not leave my hair feeling way down or oily When I use it. Keep in mind, that when I use it, I have already used other products as well I have very fine straight, thin, blonde hair, and my son has super sick tight curls and this product works fantastic and meets all of our needs despite our hair being the complete opposite.You will love it!

I just cannot get over the terrible perfumy-fake scent of this stuff! I used it and it works SO EXTREMELY WELL that I am so depressed about it! I just can't deal with the smell. My favorite shampoo/conditioner smells are Herbal Essence ROSE HIP scent. I can't stand these over-sweet scents that are trendy with most shampoos/conditioners these days! It's like a punch in the nose! I wish they'd make an unscented version or a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SCENT version.OK - now that I've thoroughly complained about it being stinkily over-scented - let's talk about HOW GREAT it actually IS! My hair was so EXTREMELY SOFT/MOISTURIZED, ALMOST FRIZZ-LESS, ALMOST NO TANGLES, SHINY and my natural color looked MUCH DEEPER! This stuff is truly amazing! Just wish it didn't STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN!

I use luxury brands and have been using more drugstore stuff after watching some tik toks, and wanted to experiment. I used this mask and my hair looks and feels great. My hair is soft and shiny and it performs so much better than the other 20 masks I have that are so much more expensive. I also got the leave in and the conditioner and I’m impressed! I will continue to use and I’m so happy that I can get good results with cheaper (in price!) products.

It leaves my hair super moisturized without weighing it down. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. After rinsing, my hair feels silky, looks shinier, and is much easier to detangle.I also appreciate that it contains a repair concentrate, which seems to really help reduce breakage and improve overall strength. This mask feels like a salon-quality treatment at home.Overall, this is an excellent product for damaged or dry hair. Highly recommended if you want quick and noticeable results!

I have mixed feelings about this balm. On the positive side, it has a very nice scent and a thick, creamy texture that makes it easy to apply. It definitely helped with detangling and made my hair feel softer immediately after rinsing. However, I didn't notice any significant long-term repair to my split ends or damage, which is what I was hoping for based on the name. It works well enough as a standard deep conditioner for the price, but don't expect it to magically "erase" damage. It's just okay.

If you have damaged hair....like REALLY damaged hair, then you will likely like this Total Repair balm. My hair is so damaged from bleaching it and then going back to dark hair, but then accidentally frying it again using a high-lift on it after it had been bleached out, that if I don't use tons of products in my hair every time I shower, my hair is brittle enough it will break off when drying it. I have to deep condition it, then use a heat protectant on it, then add some hair conditioning lotion to it, then some light oil mist to it. All just so that when I dry it and then flat iron it, it doesn't break off (any more) and can look normal until I wash it again.I've stripped everything from my hair, and have been in repair mode now for over a year trying to grow out everything I've damaged. Sections of my hair won't even hold color any more. They are forever blond even though my natural hair color is dark brown. So all I can so while growing it out is try and work with my damaged hair to make it smooth and not break off.I've used a lot of deep conditioners on my hair and at this point only "deep" conditioners work at all for me. Regular conditioners do nothing. So the kind of conditioners that are designed more for weekly use, I use every other day. I've found one of my favorites is Pantene Pro-V Weekly Rehab Creme but it's always out of stock (for Prime) and the tube is really small. So since I can't usually find it, I ordered this L'Oreal balm to try and I found it works just as well and you get a whole lot more product.It works wonders for my hair and with regular use it's got my hair into a state where it's not feeling nearly as damaged. It's not feeling brittle and it has my hair feeling smooth and normal/undamaged again. I've been using this a little more than a month and I'm thrilled with the long term effects it's had on my hair. This balm works wonderful. Love it!
