These are so cute and sturdy and very well made. I was expecting the individual pieces to be much larger though. I measured the pieces and each one is a 1.2 inch per side square . I was pleasantly surprised to note that all are double sided and there are different letters on each side - no pattern there. And also I got 30 letters and not 26 so we can make more words at a time!Because of the size not comfortable having toddlers play with it and putting it in their mouth, but little older children is OK

The blocks are pretty true to the picture that’s advertised. They are small and evenly square on all sides so they stack nicely. The set includes the full alphabet and because they are double-sided there are repeats of some of the letters, which is nice if using for a craft or project or just using them to spell simple/short words. I like them. My toddler likes them.Note: I’d recommend them for children that are past the stage of putting toys in their mouth since these are wooden and quite small.

Like other reviews mentioned, these blocks are very small and not suitable for young children. However, they are good for craft projects. One main con is that some of the letters are repeated on the same block thus preventing certain words from being spelled out. In my case the letters E, K, Q, W, T, H and N were repeated on both sides of the same block. I would have liked more of a variety of colors but we fixed that with a variety of paint pens. And there are some painting snafu's but nothing major. Overall I like the blocks but found there aren't a lot of options out there to find such a set, especially in the original size(these are 1" blocks and I believe the original ones were 2" blocks).

I love the alphabet blocks I received for my 19 month old daughter. I expected them to be larger but they are fine as they are. She and I have a great time building with them while at the same time she is identifying her colors and letters. I also love the backpack carrier they came with. It makes her feel like a big girl when I place the backpack on her back. These blocks will last and I will definitely be able to pass them on once she has mastered her alphabet, colors and building skills. Thanks for a great product.

Based on the picture of the mom, and child holding the blocks, I assumed they’d be large like the image- totally my bad for not reading the dimensions. These are TINY. Super TINY. False imagining on size, they’re cute wooden blocks…that are TINY. Don’t be like me and order from the looks of a picture, look at the description first. Once again, cute blocks, super TINY, not the size shown with the people holding in their hands.

I bought these with the primary objective of a Christmas decoration - "I WONDER AS I WANDER" or "ABCDEFGHIJK MNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" or "HAPPY NEW YEAR" along the front of a bookshelf. These blocks are a good price/value combination and being printed on two of the six sides makes them especially good for my purpose. However, if used as originally intended the size is perfect for small hands, the quality of the wood is good (no splinters or rough edges) and the colors are nice and bright. Look, these are not fine furniture - the colors do run a little bit down the side on a few of the blocks, there is the occasional mark or speck here and there. But the kids should love them and the minor imperfections will not deter the playing and learning processes. Also the blocks come with a handy bag to help with the "learn to clean up after playtime" lesson (or am I being hopelessly far away from fatherhood with that one?). All-in-all, I'm pleased.

These blocks are perfect for my son to create movie scenes with his Toy Story toys.
