I wanted to know the ullage pressure in my diesel fuel tank. The pressure/vacuum vent valve vents at 8 oz/in², and relieves vacuum at -1 oz/in². This equates to a high pressure of 13.85 inches of water, and a vacuum pressure of -1.73 inches of water. So this gauge had the perfect range to let me know if my pressure/vacuum vent valve is operating properly. It allows me to monitor vacuum while pumping fuel, and to see pressure rises in the tank during exposure to the daytime sun. I placed a decal on the top of the tank that has a table to convert from "Inches of Water" to "oz/in²".

I installed this gauge on the input to my gas stove to help diagnose a stove problem. Works great and is easy to read. Note that you will most likely need some adapter fittings to connect into your system.

Very accurate reading. I use them to diagnose automotive fuel tank emissions systems. In some tank systems, the pressure is 1 inch of water pressure. Other techs have used it and found the gauge very useful.

I liked the look and feel of this gauge. However after sitting on a shelf in the box for 2.5 years I finally had a need for it. Hooked it up to my coffee roaster to monitor the gas pressure. used it for 3 roast days and it on the 4th day it completely stopped working. Gauge went to -3 and is unresponsive to any gas pressure change.

Use to look at scratches in automotive paint. Does a nice job.

The gauge is extremely sensitive and very accurate when compared to a fluid manometer. Easy to read. Well worth the money.
