Worked and the smell lol
I smelled it when I got it and it smelled like Boo berry cereal lol It absorbs water so test with it to get it to the consistency watery applesauce motts consistency is a good reference, and I used a droper (like the plastic ones we used in science class in high school) and administered it, alongside Vitamin D3 But my one bird (Luna) is a chronic egg layer and after awhile started limping and its not easy to find a vet that takes birds so I went to Google and found ruled out all the worst case scenarios and and found it might be a vitamin deficiency so I got this and used a vitamin D3( gel caps) How Mix up the water and calcium and let it sit for 5-10minutes Get it into the dropper Get the vitamin D3 and puncture a hole in it and squeeze it on to the end of the dropper it won't work if you mix it all together because the vitamin D is an oil and will not mix with the water now let the bird bite the end of the dropper to get the vitamin D and then give the bird the calcium at a watery applesauce consistency and if her boyfriend (Basco) is watching offer him some calcium as well You want to give the bird vitamin D once a day and the calcium twice a day

Vitamins
These are the vitamins that are available in the United States I've been using them for quite some time the really great and I hope that I will be able to finish the bottles that I have and my birds will take to them they seem to be a little bit a little bit not able to tolerate the taste so I'm having to try to feed them in the morning and then try to switch up in the afternoon or they eat large qualities of lettuce and go into dehydration

Quality product
I have a couple of parrots who are deficient in calcium. Years ago, when I used to work at a pet store, we used Nekton products for the pets in our care. So I ordered Nekton Calcium for my parrots. Some of the reviews mention that some people's birds won't eat it. I sprinkle some of the powder on their fresh sprouts each morning, and they don't seem to be bothered by the taste. I need to redo their blood tests to really see if there are improvements in their calcium levels, but their behavior has improved.

Beware - Covered Expiration Date. Is this product expired?
Expiration date covered so you don't know if past expiration date. Would you buy expired/ past fresh date grocery items to feed your family? If not why would you feed to your pet. At least there wasn't discolored dark bits in the powder, if there was I would suspect it to be past expired or had gotten moisture in the bottle which would equally as bad. BEWARE.
