Cake Boss Decorating Tools 4-Piece Quilted Fondant Imprint Mat Set, Clear

So glad I bought this. I used the large diamond print for a tiered baby shower cake. I used a fondant paddle from HOSL 4 Sets (11pcs) Sugarcraft Icing Cake Smoother Fondant Cutter Embosser Rolling Pin Modeling Tool Kit Set to smooth the Diamond Panel onto the fondant. They lined up fairly nicely. I used too much frosting on the inside so it didn't imprint very deep, will correct for next cake. They are super easy to clean and will last as long as you take care of it. 4 panels included one package. So many other things could be done with these.

What upsets me is seeing reviews saying it barely imprints the fondant. Well it’s SUPPOSE TO BARELY IMPRINT THE FONDANT. Than you go behind the finely print with something straight edge and press in those spots. Anyone that makes cakes would know this so stop giving this persons product a terrible starred review just because you don’t know how to use this product!!! I bought this product from this person and made a cake with this product and it came out PERFECT because I actually know what I’m doing.... so yes this gets a 5 star thank you bunches for this it works just fine

They are flimsy. I wish they were a litter more sturdier. I used it on chilled buttercream. I did go over the lines with a skewer to get the bold look. It does work, not all lines show because it's hard to hold and press at the same time. If it was a stronger plastic i wouldn't have to hold it up. but it did work on buttercream so I was happy. I did know I was going to have to go over it with a skewer so that wasn't a big issue.

They work great but the material is thin so you have to be careful with them so they don’t break, but that is refelected in the cost. I am glad I got them and I would buy them again; I just wish they were made with higher quality material. I would pay more for a sturdier material so I wouldn’t have to worry about breaking them, but that being said they haven’t broke.

AWESOME! first off - the price is great! I have seen this set sell for 2-3x as much at craft stores. It arrived fast (even though it wasn't prime eligible). It was SUPER easy to use and my fondant cake came out looking GREAT! Would definitely recommend if you're trying to make a quilt cake!

I only received the large diamond pattern instead of the large and small, so I'm disappointed there. I guess I didn't realize until months later when I had an occasion to need the pattern. The large pattern worked well for my buttercream cake, but there is a learning curve. I started in the middle of the mat and worked to the two sides. If the matts were large enough to go around a 10 or 12" cake, I would like it more. It was a little bit of a pain to get the next pattern lined up and they didn't match exactly in the back. Other than that, it is much faster than using a triangle and ruler.

Used these for an order this week and they were awesome! Flexible enough to wrap around your cake without cracking. I've been doing my quilting by hand with a ruler for years, and this was so much more accurate in a fifth of the time. Would highly recommend to both professional and amateur decorators.

Left he perfect design on my fondant cupcake toppers. I also use them when I am trying to make designs on my sugar cookies . If you do it right you will get the results you need. All 4 pieces never let me down and I am ready for more imprints like these.
