Do I need to prep my tub & tile before I begin refinishing?

YES - The prep work is very important to achieve the best results. The bathroom itself will need some prep work and the surface will need to be cleaned & prepped as directed before you begin spraying. Refer to instructions inside the packaging.

Will I need any additional items to use this refinishing kit?

YES - Required items include: Safety glasses, rubber gloves, abrasive scrubbing pad, abrasive cleaner, TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) Cleaner, bucket, #400/#600 grit wet/dry sandpaper, tack cloth, masking/painters tape, drop cloth or masking film.

How many coats of paint are needed, and how long does the paint take to dry?

For most projects, 2-3 coats are sufficient. Do not add additional coats more than 6 hours after the application of the first coat. Allow your final coat to dry at least 72 hours before exposing to water.

Do I need to be concerned with ventilation?

YES - You will need to ensure you have properly ventilated your area by opening windows and/or using fans before you begin using this product.
