Wii Guitar Hero 5 Guitar Bundle

I really enjoy the Guitar hero Series, ever since the days of the ps2 the time spent with these games have been time well spent. I still think that number 2 was the best installment, but 5 is worthy of the guitar hero name.The full customization of every aspect makes this a more approachable title, especially for those who come from a rock band background. I feel the songs picked for this games tend to be less rocky, or even challenging, than the ones on earl-yer versions. But the format and gameplay are the same.All together this is a good title, I enjoy making my own rockers and songs to play with them. I give this 5 stars and say get it today.

Everything works perfectly. For someone who is way behind on new technology and games, this was very easy to get started up and playing. Still playing at "easy" level, but I believe that is operator error and not the product. Overall, very satisfied with the product. It has provided loads of fun when my kids and grandkids come over. They now have a game system that we can all play at Grandma's house with lots of laughs and good times.

Overall the set list just isn't that great. I do like about 30-35% of the songs so I can live with it. I am glad I purchased this however, because the controller is pretty cool and I can use it to play World Tour(which has a magnificent set list). I wish I had purchased it a long time ago. I like the play controls though I'm still getting used to it. I have not had the issues that others have had, no screen jumping or anything like that and the graphics are decent. I found the tutorials helpful, because I was struggling at the beginnning; more than I am now. I like that in career mode everything is unlocking fairly quickly as well. Overall the game is still fun, though some of the songs might be a bit obscure.

I have not opened the box yet. However, I was a little dismayed to have the FEDEX driver literally drop (I heard the box slam on the concrete porch)the box on my porch and ring my doorbell and leave. Hopefully, the guitar was not damaged when he dropped the box.

I just got this in the mail today and we were all so excited to try it. We cracked it open and put it all together. We noticed a problem about 30 seconds into playing. While you are playing a song, (we only have one guitar so it is just one player) it goes to the menu. So you hit the button to make it resume and it continues to go back to the menu. You may get 20 or 30 seconds of play time, but eventually it goes back to the menu. My understanding is the + on the bottom of the guitar is supposed to make it go to the menu, but we aren't touching that and it continues to go back to the menu. It is truly the most annoying this ever. I have looked at the manual, google, and the GH5 website. I can't seem to find anything on how to fix this, but for now.. this is a dud. I'm not sure if it is the guitar or the software, but this is definitely a serious problem here. I have tried new batteries and different wii remotes, they all end up with the same result. This is really a bummer for us because this was our first GH purchase.

Guitar had some issues (not all the inputs were working all the time). We found that removing the neck and re-instering it would usually fix it, but we "lost" a number of song attempts due to the problem. The game is great with decent list of songs (never as many of my "favorites" as I would like, but I appreciate learning to like new songs). Recommended, even though Band Hero gets the most play. Also, the family loved this for about a month, but now only one or two of us play this from time to time. Nice to have to pull out when friends come over. It's a fun, social game to play!

I bought this because we needed the extra guitar for the bass player in our Band Hero. I decided to get the bundle so we'd have an extra game to play as well. The game works with the entire band just like band hero (the 5 piece drumming instead of 4 like rock band). Love having the extra instrument and the song list is pretty good too!

Everything was there as promised, the delivery speed was pretty fast, and it's a lot of fun. But my word that packaging was TIGHT. The box took two seconds to cut into, while I spent a good fifteen minutes hacking away the plastic that wrapped the two guitar pieces and the game together.The game itself has a nice collection of songs, probably my favorite seeing as you can no longer purchase songs online. It's got a nice solid mix. Industrial, classic rock, alternative, pop punk, etc.
