Zinc Oxide Sunscreen is the best choice!
I’m happy I decided on Coppertone Pure & Simple Zinc Oxide Sunscreen. The 6 ounce bottle is well worth the price as a little goes a long way. I always give the bottle a good shake before applying it. This was the first year I sought out all zinc oxide sunscreens. I wanted to avoid the bad ingredients in regular sunscreens I’ve used in the past. This is free of octinoxate & oxybenzone which are the 2 main bad ingredients in most sunscreens. This pure & simple sunscreen is free of PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) which is an ingredient you should avoid in the interest of protecting your overall well-being. It’s also parabens, dye & fragrance free. I like the 50 SPF. I did some research on what it’s a good SPF to look for. This is what I learned: “SPF50 will last 2 hours in the sun. It should protect you 50 times as long as your skin would be able to naturally protect itself. However, remember that the lower the SPF and longer the length of time since application, the less UVB rays will be filtered so a reapplication every two hours is highly recommended.” Another great feature this sunscreen has is the active ingredient of zinc oxide is at 24.08%. I didn’t know what that meant so again I researched it. This is what I learned: “It’s recommended looking for a sunscreen label for a zinc oxide concentration of 20-25% for best protection from UVA and UVB rays.” So thumbs up on everything this Coppertone Pure & Simple sunscreen offers. Be careful as it comes out a little watery quickly but it rubs nicely onto my skin & is absorbed immediately. There’s no residue or white cast look to it period. Yesterday I worked outside for 5 hours. I took a couple breaks & did reapply after 2 hours. I didn’t burn period. This sunscreen kept my skin safe. I also decided to apply it to my face because I had it handy with me outside & my face sunscreen was in the house. This was lightweight on my face & didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I feel it could easily be used as a facial sunscreen. So many positives I’ve found with this sunscreen! I most definitely recommend it!

Great mineral sunscreen
Great mineral sunscreen, rubs in well, protects well during high UV times, doesn't sweat off, not strong smell. Used this for fist time on a 95% high humidifier day while walking around Pittsburgh between 11am-3pm. No burning at all. There is a film left but that's for almost all sunscreen, so not any difference with this one. Easy to rub in and may leave a slight white coat but not as noticeable as some other mineral products. I will buy this again and recommend.

Difficult to remove, but works well
I've used this about 5 times now. It's a little different from what I replaced - coppertone sport sunscreen. here's what I found: Pro: uses zinc instead of Avobenzone (so healthier) blocks the sun really well - better than the regular coppertone stays on your skin for a long time Much cheaper than many other brands that use zinc Cons bottle is a little smaller - 6 oz vs 8 oz. sunscreen is thinner so tends to run a bit as you apply (in your hand or if you put a bit on your leg or arm) *Very* difficult to remove. I have tried showering and scrubbed with a soapy washcloth, but still can't get it all off I note that my skin in a bit sticky to the touch where i attempted to remove this sunscreen Second day in a row application is a little worse since there is always residual from the day before makes your skin somewhat white - definitely noticeable (does not fully rub in) I have *not* used this in water, so cannot comment about that. Mostly, I'm trying to find a sunscreen that does not contain harmful chemicals (after using the 'bad' ones for years). UPDATE: I have found makeup remover works well to remove his product. Since makeup remover is expensive, I’ve tried other things and found that castor oil followed by soft soap sequence (both applied before I apply water) works.

good stuff
I use this under makeup, focusing on cheek and nose area. Ladies, this makes a great under foundation primer. My skin looks better than after I apply a more expensive makeup primer and this doesn't clog pores. So it protects my skin that has already been damaged by the sun, adds a hint of brightness under makeup, minimizes pores, and saves me money. Big win right here. :)

Great for skin that burns easily
As someone who burns just thinking about the sun, I have tried a ton of sunscreens. I love the outdoors but always dread the burns, both dealing with them and knowing I'm more at risk for skin cancer the more I burn. It never mattered how often I reapplied, I always burned. After doing some research, I decided to try a mineral sunscreen. Trying to find one that's affordable and doesn't leave a thick, white cast can be hard, but I've found this and its spray version to be really effective. You still can get a white cast, but it goes away once it's rubbed in properly. Now I can be outside and not have to worry as long as I follow the instructions and reapply when needed!

It's a nice value for money product. But the design for the cover needs to be improved. Because the hole is flushed with the cover, a lot of the sunscreen lands up on the cover and it's wasted cos I personally found it gross to wipe the excess off the surface and then putting it on my face! Hope there can be a better bottle design at least for the cover:)

Es una crema un tanto liquida que deja una capa un tanto blanca al inicio pero después se adapta bien al color de piel, no se desvanece rápidamente porque tiene minerales y eso la hace genial. Protege muy bien del sol.

Finally a sunscreen that has the active ingredient zinc oxide at 21% which is the recommended level for the sunscreen to be effective. I'm fully satisfied 😊. But a tad costly for me.
