Great forks for a vintage BMX bike
I was reviving an old Predator and the forks broke. I wanted something that would look period correct on this 80's bike. These forks were just the ticket. As another reviewer mentioned, the threaded tube is too long and needs to be cut down. I was able to accomplish that easily enough with a hacksaw and then used a bench grinder to bevel the edge. Also worth mentioning is the forks fit a crown race (the bottom part of the headset) of 27.0mm, not 26.4mm. So if you go to install the very first part of your headset and it doesn't fit, that might be the issue. Overall, we're super happy with these chrome forks!

Looks good but cheaply made
Bought these for the chrome look for a project. Would mot ust these on any serious riding bmx, for jumps or extreme stunts. Poorly manufactured with little attention to detail and finishing. Some welds and edges are sharp metal and could cut you.... that’s why they were only $25 and you get what you pay for. The chrome is mice and the thread was clean.

Cheap, works well
I bought this fork to turn my son's 20" mountain bike into a road bike. His suspension fork was ragged out, heavy, and never really worked that well. I measured the steerer length of the old fork and marked the new fork with a sharpie. I then cut the steerer with a cutoff wheel on my air grinder. Not the cleanest cut, but a few minutes work with a hand file evened it out. The fork looks great. Just be sure if you're replacing an old fork that you pay attention to the inside diameter of the steerer. There are two standards for 1" forks -- 21.1 ID and 22.2 ID. This is a 21.1.
