Well made, educational, and easy to carry
Educational and challenging. The game itself is a card game, and somewhat smaller than I'd expected, but a great size for travel. The cards are fairly sturdy and the print/color is clear. I like that the game teaches flags and capital cities for each country. I think until we get a little better, we will have to sort by continent and learn one area at a time! I'm looking forward to the day when I can show off my knowledge of the flags of Burundi, Guinea Bissau, and New Zealand...

A great game for adults AND kids
A fantastic game! Within this game there are 5 different ways you can play the game. This game isn't just for kids, it's appropriate for adults too (you'll be shocked how many flags you DON'T know!). It has cards with the flag on one side, and the name of the country, the capital, and several facts on the back. It also comes with a map of the world with each country labeled and the entire list of flags on the back.

Nice game and learning tool
My teenage son loves these cards. We play the game as a family. It can be adapted for most levels. We keep it real casual but could be competitive if wanted. We blindfold my teenager and describe the flags to him. I've also bought this for nephews and friends.

It is a good visual tool to teach kids and adults about countries
It is a good visual tool to teach kids and adults about countries. However, it tend to get boring after a while because Youโre Always you using the same cards. If you can invest in this it would be with idea to pass it along after school after youโre done.

Good enough
Overall good, but not sure why some flags were selected and others omitted. Not sure how Palestine was left out and Vatican City with a similar status was included. Kosovo and (to some extent) Taiwan are also controversial as being independent countries, yet have their own cards. I disagree with another reviewer- that Puerto Rico is it's own country, when it is part of USA. Something that jumped out as wrong is- Trinidad & Tobago is listed under North America. I only opened this up yesterday, but there are already errors and annoyances. It's 90% decent though. Wish it had more information concerning the flags.

Nice cards with flags and country facts
I use this game to train the memory of my almost-five year old. Realistically, I only use around 30 flags for the countries that we are the most familiar with. So much as I would like to think that we can learn all of them, I do not think we are capable of learning 195 different flags! I like that each card has facts on the country, such as capital, surface area and population. I guess after a few years the population numbers will not be so relevant anymore, but at least it gives an idea of the size of the countries! The only think I did not like that much is that the map is made of cheap cardboard, but it does the job when we play. I cannot say that my son love this game, but I do convince him to play once a week so we can get some more "cultural" game between transformers and power rangers!

A superb piece of product. Bit expensive but worth every penny. I play this with my 5-year-old, and he now recognizes more than 50% of the flags. Go for it.

Firstly this game can be played different ways and there is instructions for each way to play. It is also for 2-9 players. We have been playing how it tells you in game one, which is each person has 4 cards and then eveyone takes a turn choosing a card from someone elses set and has to name the country, if they get it right they get to keep that card and the player whos card was chosen adds another from the extra pile to their set. The person who has won the flag card also gets a chance to win another card from the extra pile by correctly giving the capital of the country as well. This is carried on until there is no more cards left, the winner is the person with the most cards. The cards are in continents and you can play just one continent, or choose a mixture or do all of them. We have stuck to doing Europe and South America at the moment to try to master these flags first. The game has been played everyday since Christmas day and some days numerous times. I have also seen the kids swotting up on the countries trying to remember each flag. The only problem i have with the game is that Cyprus is not put in the Europe continent but in Asia and that some of the Africa cards have Africa spelt Afrika and then someone has gone over the K with a C, but this doesn't spoil the game. Brilliant educational game for all the family.
