This company also sells a product made for "screen doors" which might be more what you need - it is made for very thin metal screen protectors. Probably similar in thickness to your storm door.

Don't they make a large? I couldn't find one. Only medium and extra large.

How many flaps does one order come with??

It only comes with 1 flap but I think you can order more if needed. I had one of these doggy doors at our previous home for 8 years and never had to replace the flap even with 2 medium to large dogs using it constantly.
