WARN 11078 Universal Foot Forward Winch Mount Kit with Mounting Plate

Incredibly well built. Multiple mounting options let you install in a number of ways to fit your situation. Used with an M8 winch mounted foot forward, though can also be used foot down. Note that the holes for the bottom mount are drilled differentially front and rear - 3/8 front, 7/16 rear. I used a set of grade 8 hex bolts and nuts to mount to the steel platform, and then the standard grade 5 hardware for the winch. Impressive unit.

This mount is made for mounting on a trailer. It is very heavy duty and will work for whatever winch you want.

Warn makes the finest products. This winch plate has a large face plate to protect the winch in case you are using it on a trailer. You can then not have to worry about damaging the winch facing if you have a loader or teeth on a back hoe. There are several holes for you to use so you can use many types of winches and to mount the winch onto bumpers or frames of trucks or jeeps or trailers. Weighs in at 21 lbs. Very sturdy! Sides are reinforced with angle bracing. Excellent welds.

I made a portable winch out of this and a Warn 16.5ti and installed 50 70 feet of synthetic rope on it to cut down the weight. 135 pounds, winch, plae, rope and 1/4' receiver tube welded to plate. with 45 degree gussets for side pul strength.

Surprised to open box and find that NOT ALL the HARDWARE needed for Installation is INCLUDED as stated in the product description. The inside box with small parts was OPEN on one end and there was one bag with 4 washers in it; there were no INSTRUCTIONS or a list of hardware needed to mount it. Contacted WARN & was told by CS rep the bolts/nuts needed are no longer supplied as a kit for this product. We purchased needed hardware for $12 - not expensive but still misrepresented and should be corrected on the Amazon listing. The product itself appears to be very sturdy.

Terrible packaging. Box ripped wide open. Winch plate is fine however NO HARDWARE. Probably fell out of the gapping gash in the box. Great product....TERRIBLE PACKAGING

I used this to fabricate a winch bumper for my '97 F350. It is very heavy duty and my Warn 12,000 lb winch mounted right up to it.

Very solid and ridgid mount. However I had to enlarge the holes to bolt up the m12000 as they were a bit off-center

This winch mount worked perfect for my old warm 8274 would highly recommend it for your trailer or WHY.

Typical Warn product. Very heavy duty. Lots of mounting holes for a variety of winches. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
