Squeeze the cheese
We purchased this as a birthday gift for my wife's mom. She makes goat cheese and wanted to try making Cheddar cheese. The thing is so easy to use for her weak little hands and she has now made 5 Cheddar cheese rounds. Must have item

Works well
Good quality for the money. It was easy to set up and use. My son suggested I could also use it as an apple press. It cleaned easily and fit in cupboard easily.

cheap solution for the occasional home cheese maker
This is not a professional cheese press by any means, It definitely does the job at a low cost. I am not sure what the purpose of the wing nuts and top caps are for? I just slide the top board over the 4 bolts and add the recommended weight. be sure to put a plate underneath to catch the whey seepage and protect the bottom board.

Splurge for the better ones.
This works, but I would not buy it again. Especially if you plan on making a lot of cheese. Most of my bigger wheels of cheese did not compress adequately and spoiled. If you’re doing smaller wheels it’s ok. Would not buy again.
