containers are made well, but don't seem to hald a vacuum for very long

I use these for everything from sliced Avocado's, fresh shredded cheese to zucchini. Removing the air seems to keep things much fresher a long time and this is the second set I've purchased.

I have used all sizes of these for 11 months. I gave these 4 stars BUT it could have as easily been a 1 star. Here is why. If you pump too many times, the seals will break and they become worthless. When you pump the air out with the pump that's included, the rubber "bulb" on the top collapes, as it is supposed to. As you pump---and don't pump too fast---KEEP YOUR EYE on the "collapsible" rubber thing on the top of each container and QUIT PUMPING as soon as it is fully collapsed. The 25 oz glass shaped container only takes about 8 pumps. The bigger ones need to be pumped more, but usually 15 pumps is all it takes on the bigger ones.
