This chocolate is excellent. It melts extremely well even in the microwave (30 second intervals mixing every 30 seconds). It took about 2 minutes this way for 2 bags. It came out creamy and completely melted. Will buy again and would recommend highly.

Extremely high quality & absolutely delicious. I mix these with a 80-90% coco bar broken up into similar size pieces for a bed-time healthy? snack. Chocolate prices have recently soared so shop around but recently I've found the best price here on Amazon over my local food stores. Enjoy!

Good price too. But the best part is that even though I’m currently wearing a Stelo to monitor my blood sugar (due to being somewhat insulin resistant) I can eat a few of these chips spaced out during the day with a few nuts (for balancing the sugar with protein) without my blood sugar going up much. These chips are the perfect size for a sensible snack, so as a result now I feel less deprived! It may sound odd but wearing the blood sugar monitor (which sends blood sugar numbers to my phone) has given me a lot of self discipline because I HATE to see my numbers go over 140 mg/dL. For some of us apparently being able to see our blood sugar numbers any time of the day (measured at 15 min intervals) appeals to the prefrontal cortex and perhaps also the “adult ego state”, instead of the inner child, and this helps a more rational part of me start making the food decisions (for an interesting read, pick up a copy of “I’m OK, you’re OK”, found here on Amazon). I’m being honest here when I say that these Ghiradelli dark chocolate chips are an important part of what I am doing, they are the tiny carrots on a stick that are helping keep me motivated! Plus dark chocolate in moderation is supposedly good for blood sugar regulation!

This product came three months (!) after we ordered it, but it finally arrived. Coming from NV to MA we were afraid the chips would all be melted upon arrival, but the seller made a valiant effort to prevent that - and just barely succeeded! The package was very warm, the cold packs in the box had melted to water and leaked, but the product was OK. and the price was exceptional. UPS left the box in the sun on our porch despite the big label to avoid direct sunlight. But we got out fast and got the package in before it could get any warmer. So one star off for being so late, and the packaging was a mess by the time we got it - obviously opened and re-closed, but the final result was good. And these are great chips!!!

These were my favorite chocolate chips that I would add to my muffins but now I can’t get them on prime anymore so I’m super disappointed.

I have been a candy maker for years , but always bought the cheap chocolate chips. Never again after using this product. My chocolate covered peppermint patties have never taste better.
