I’ve been drinking protein powder for the last 20 years and am constantly trying new brands and flavors. I always come back to this Muscle Milk protein. It’s absolutely delicious, mixes instantly, and is a great value. Are there a lot of other great tasting protein? Sure. But what I love about this one is it’s value, and the fact that it comes in a bag. It’s so wasteful to me that most proteins come in a giant plastic tub. I really don’t enjoy creating that much water and I’m happy this is offered in this type of package. Anyways, this stuff taste great. I drink 2 scoops everyday and my partner takes about 1 daily. This bag lasts is almost a month which breaks down to like a $1.50 a shake. For almost 1/4 of my daily protein intake, that’s amazing value. Do yourself a favor and get this protein

Muscle Milk's reputation proceeds their products. Great quality whey protein that's easy on digestion unless you are lactose intolerant. This comes as a presweetened powder that's not the easiest to dissolve. I would not do water as the product suggests. Add to milk, almond milk, food, cereals, yogurt (the best option) anything but water. My experience with cold water was it just would not dissolve and clumps remained, though I was doing this with a spoon. A blender might work better. The product just seemed to not dissolve easily. There's a light vanilla aroma while your drinking this added to your drink or foid. It's not a dominant smell. As long as it'd 100% dissolved there is no gritty texture. One IMPORTANT piece of advice: Though there are only 3 grams of sugar per portion DO NOT mix this with anything already sweetened. It will be disgustingly, overly sweet. I have a massive sweet tooth and it completely grossed me out.

I just switched to this product because it is HALF the cost of the one I was using. It tastes OK for a powdered chocolate drink although it seems to have a slight additional taste sort of like they added a little vanilla. I prefer the taste of the previous product but I can't afford to pay twice as much per oz and this product comes fast and is in a 5 lb bag as opposed to a 2 lb jar. This one is .62 cents per oz while the other one I was using was $1.25 per oz. I'm 74, 6' 1", 250 lbs and had a heart attack in Dec. I did 12 weeks of cardio rehab and was told I should get at least 200 grams of protein a day.

Bad taste

Great taste, mixes really well, dissolves perfectly without clumping or sticking to the sides of mixing vessel. Isolates are the best type of whey as they are lower in milk sugars and fats, and therefore pure protein. It is also low in calories compared to the others I have used which are plenty. I use this every morning mixed with oats, fruit, nuts, and seeds, blended to perfection for a get start high protein, easy digestible breakfast that not only tastes great but is packed with energy to start my day.
