Disney Princess: Aurora: The Perfect Party (Disney Princess Chapter Book)

I purchased this chapter book about two years ago when my daughter was just 5 1/2 years old. Since then, both my husband and I have read the story to her several times. Now that she's in Second Grade, she is able to read for herself--thank goodness--and has done so on at least two occasions. LOL The story is very sweet, and there are some lovely illustrations throughout the book. I have to admit that when I first read the story (I've had to read it several times! LOL) I enjoyed it almost as much as my daughter did. In this story, Aurora plans a surprise party for the three good fairies. Trying to keep the party a surprise, however, is easier said that done, considering that at every turn Aurora discovers the fairies are close behind. LOL This is a really cute story, and is sure to delight any little one who enjoys princess stories. My daughter loves it and highly recommends it.

We recently discovered these short chapter books at a book fair. My daughter LOVES them! She's usually so hyper at night when it gets to be bed time, but these have really calmed her down. There aren't very many pictures, so she really has to listen to the story and create the image in her mind. I love the time that we have together when reading these!

My four-year-old loves princesses (imagine that!), but especially Aurora. Her older brother has a lot of activities that she must be patient while he participates. I purchased this to give us a quiet activity to do while he is doing his thing and we are waiting (and watching). Being read aloud to is a terrific literacy-building activity, and I enjoy seeing her expressions when I'm telling the story. Of course, she'd like to see more images (because she's four). I realize it's a chapter book, but she still wants more visual stimulation (thus, the four and not five stars).

My daughter LOVES these books! She's only four, but has no problem paying attention and is highly motivated to try her hand at reading. We read a "chapter" a night, and she's always begging for more. They're sweet, simple stories with an occasional illustration.

I bought this for an almost four year old as a way to introduce her to chapter books. We read a chapter or two a night and with her favorite characters it is a hit! I bought 4 others for her and I'm glad to have her into reading these types of books! I'm going to introduce new chapter books and characters when we finish these 5

This book is one my favorite books to read to my 5 and 6 year old girls. The chapters are perfect for their age. It's a lovely book with many details. I wish I could buy the whole collection.

I bought this book hoping that my 3 year old would enjoy it. I would say it is for an older child, who will sit and listen to you read an actual story. Not many pictures at all. But it is a cute story. I just couldnt keep her attention long enough to finish reading it with her.

My Granddaughter loves to read this book! It is nice to have on my kindle so she can read wherever we are.
