My hair is fine My hair is shoulder length My hair has high porosity My hair cannot handle heavy creams I have used this entire six piece product line now for 4 months. I just switched from The new Redken Bonding Curly system that came out in May. As it was way to heavy for my hair but, it does restore your curl pattern also. Anywho, my curl pattern used to be very damaged due to blonde highlights for 20 years. Now my wash and go s are actual wash and go’s. I start with a clarifying shampoo first I do get that from Ola Plex. I only use a clarifying shampoo to cleanse my hair of all products and cleanse my scalp once a week. Next, I wash with the Oribe shampoo then I use the Oribe conditioner. Next, I thoroughly rinse again and go in with the deep conditioning mask after I’ve applied the deep conditioning mask. I placed a bonnet on my head and I sit in my sauna for 20 minutes if I don’t feel like getting in the sauna, I keep the bonnet on as I work throughout the house to allow the conditioner to sink in After after I feel like the conditioner has set enough I rinse my hair thoroughly again instead of styling my hair at this point I then add a leave in the in, then use the leave in conditioner and the curly gel I combed the hair with a denim brush thoroughly throughout this process to make sure that all product is evenly distributed throughout my hair. I didn’t let my hair air dry or use the diffuser without manipulating my hair. That is the routine that I typically do on Saturday night so that my hair is ready to style on Sunday mornings for church. I only do this process once per week, if you wash too much, you can strip your hair of your natural oils, which you need to keep it healthy Washing goes styling is super easy after this process because the next day my hair is soft, clean and ready to be styled. I section the hair off with clips. I grab my continuous spray water bottle and gently re-wet the section Hair. I take the gel and I’m manipulate the curls just a finger curl nothing too serious. It takes me maybe 20 minutes to do my entire head of hair. After I have wet and put gel on each section. I then diffuse my hair or I let it dry naturally the curls just pop. See pictures. I also have the moose for curly hair moose can make my hair frizzy, but it will speed up your drying time and give you a lot of volume. It is a great product as well. And that’s how I do it daily. I just re-wet add a little more gel and blow dry with diffuser my curls usually last until my next wash be sure to use a silk pillowcase, and I wear a silk bonnet on my head at night to protect my curls from frizz. To me now that I know what products are good for my Hair I realize that the cliché you pay for what you get definitely applies to your hair products this product last me almost one year when I buy full-size and buy them all at one time that is well worth having healthy hair that I can do myself every day. Then I clip it up in the shower and put a plastic shower cap on to help the effectiveness of the product stay in and stay warm. My hair is less frizzy, softer, less tangled and over all just better using this and it smells SOOOO good like luxury. I use this after my shower as a leave in and also use it prior to putting in hair gel or mousse. I have thick curly hair so it doesn’t weight my hair down like it might for others.
