arsvita Car Audio Cassette to Aux Adapter, 3.5 MM Auxillary Cable Tape Adapter

I picked up this cassette tape aux adapter not expecting much, but it honestly surprised me. Setup was super simple just plug the cord into your phone, pop the cassette into the deck, and you’re good to go. The sound quality is way better than I thought it would be, especially for something that works with older car stereos. It’s not perfect you might hear a faint static if you turn it up really loud but for everyday use, it gets the job done. It’s been a lifesaver for my older car since I don’t have Bluetooth. The cord is a decent length and doesn’t feel flimsy, and the cassette itself fits snug without any issues. If you’re looking for an easy, budget-friendly way to play music from your phone in an older vehicle, this is definitely worth it.

The cassette arrived well packed. The unit itself feels sturdy, unlike the flimsy plastic ones I've seen before. The cable and the 3.5mm jack look like they'll last for years. I specifically skipped the battery powered versions. Those tend to die after just a few months, and replacing a built in battery is a hassle. This setup lets me connect to an external Bluetooth receiver instead. If that fails, swapping it out is cheap and easy. A nice design feature is the ridge at the bottom. You can flip the cassette over to change which side the cable exits from. The default exit has no ridge, and flipping it uses the ridge for the other side. This makes it work with any cassette holder in my car. One small note: inserting the adapter leaves the cassette tray slightly open. It didn't cause any playback issues in my car, but it's something to know. The cable length is good for the front dash or reaching the driver and shotgun seat. If you want rear passengers to use it, the cable won't reach. I recommend buying an aux extension for that. Audio quality is spot on. I confirmed stereo output works perfectly, though your car receiver also needs to support stereo. 10/10 purchase. Much better than the radio. loving the Spotify is seamless.

Brought an older car that couldn’t do Bluetooth and this did the trick. Functioned great, plugs in so you never have to worry about battery and I never had any delays between my phone and speakers. Sound quality was decent sure it’ll very on speakers though. Did have an underlying static sound but unsure if that was the tapes fault.

Worked perfectly for the old 2004

I’ve been using car audio cassettes for 40 years. I found one I bought probably 20 years ago unopened. I have a 1997 vehicle that I bought New. It still runs perfectly fine. It has a cassette player in it and I’ve been using cassette adapters for many years. I decided to open the 20 year old one and use it because the one that I was using is about 7 years old. Still works but I thought I’d give it a break. So before putting in the 20 year old one, I ran the head cleaning tape in to freshen up the stock deck. I do that periodically. So I put the 20 year old one in and it works flawlessly. Excellent sound quality, no clicking sounds etc. Because the 20 year old on was the last NEW one I had, I decided to buy another one to have on hand. So after quite a bit of research, I decided on the Arsvita car audio cassette. Not the Bluetooth version just one with an aux cord. It arrived 3/12. So I decided to see if by chance over the years technology may have improved, I brought it out to the car and put it in. All it did was self eject. Over and over again. So I went in and “YouTubed” it and found several solutions that seemed logical. Over 40 years I never had to do anything like this but I guess technology has changed, for the worst in this case. I tried everything I could find on YouTube, I took it apart took out the “reverse” wheel, that didn’t work. I took it back apart to more options I learned on YouTube. NOTHING but NOTHING would work. I finally just to it and threw it in the garbage. Save yourself all the headaches, never buy Arsvita products.

Ordered a replacement because I liked the first one so much. With this one, the audio quality is real bad. Peaks and distorts, especially if music is acoustic/stripped down/folk. Dont notice it much with full band distortion music. Not sure why. Just dealing with it though. Maybe I got a lemon.

Great audio quality, you can hear more elements of the song you're listening too, better and louder than the Bluetooth cassette

Was excited to receive this object however I’m not sure if it due to me using a headphone to type c port but the sound quality wasn’t as good as I’d hoped for.
