Wicca: A Modern Guide to Witchcraft and Magick

I think this book is underrated. It’s really helpful and direct for people first establishing a magickal practice or for intermediate practitioners to see if any elements of magick have fallen through the cracks. It does give the basics, but I’ve never seen anything laid out so simply and complete before. If you connect with one area she writes about you can get a detailed book to go further into it but to start, and get things clear in your mind about how you can proceed down the path of wicca and witchcraft, this books is a great help. I also want to mention her writings on mental health. I’ve never seen that included in a book about magick before and I really appreciate her going into it because so many of us suffer from mental health disorders and have been told you should only be 100% sound of mind before getting into magick. Harmony presents this from a place of using the Wiccan path as support for mental health instead. I’m really glad I got this book and am looking forward to her writing more books in the future.

This a beautiful book. I follow Harmony Nice on YouTube and Instagram, and she has such a great eye for beauty. She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she really does her research and practices the things she writes/talks about. She has a humble air about her, and she isn't afraid to reach out to others to learn and grow, which we should all do more of! I also appreciate how 'real' she is and how she will also talk about her own journeys of self-discovery and struggles with health sometimes. Speaking about these things inspires and encourages others to get the help they need and not to be hard on themselves. I love Harmony and her book and appreciate all she does to share her journey and knowledge with the world!

When I read the book a lot of knowledge I've already encountered was in there. I know I don't know everything and this book does not claim to be a universal guide, nor is it a definitive guide either. Anyone looking for more in depth information may be at a loss. Harmony wrote a great book that emphasized balance and kindness. It was a quick read for me and I still enjoyed it! I would give this book to anyone who has an interest in the craft; but I wouldn't give it to a witch who has long standing experience. This is great for introducing others to your craft and showing them it's not how they may have envisioned it.

This informational read was exceptional. It is motivating and captivating. A must read for a brand-new Wiccan like myself or someone who does not understand or know of the Wiccan religion at all. There are great resources provided within the book as well. I am just starting out on my Wiccan journey, and this book has helped me to transcend in my opinion on the Wiccan religion. I now have a much better understanding of the religion and what I need to do to move forward on my individual Wiccan path. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the Wiccan religion, including Witchcraft and rituals.

Amazing book! The cover design is beautiful and the quality of it is very nice! As for the content, it is my favorite book on Wicca and magick I have ever read! I also think this may be one of the most well written books on the subject, especially for the modern era. It may even rival the works of Cunningham! The writing style is very clear and easy to read, almost as if you are having a conversation with her as she is writing it. It brings the basics into an easy to read format and you can get a clear understanding of how to start. If you are an experienced practitioner, you can still learn from this book because she is very open about her own experiences in the craft and how her life changed as she delved deeper into it. This teaches you not only the "how to" but also the "how it changes everything for the better" and the "finding yourself" part of the craft. I was excited for this book and I preordered when Harmony announced it on her YouTube channel. I do not regret the preorder and I HIGHLY recommend buying this book and learning this subject from such a beautiful soul as Harmony Nice!

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I love watching Harmony Nice on YouTube and consider her very knowledgeable in the fields of Wicca and witchcraft. Though I don't consider myself a Wiccan, I've always been interested in witchcraft and pagan religions. I was looking for an intro-level book to get me back into the basics of witchcraft, and this is exactly how I'd describe this book. It does a good job of introducing many general aspects of Wicca without overwhelming the reader with information. I wouldn't necessarily recommended it to someone who is not a beginner in the craft and is looking for something more in-depth, but this is a great jumping off point for newbies. At times the narrative voice was a bit clunky, but I can't be mad at someone for their writing style. All-in-all I definitely enjoyed this book and will be using it as a reference guide in the future.

This was an excellent beginner book for new Wiccans. It is also a great to use as a reference for seasoned Wiccans. It goes over the basics which is where everyone needs to start. It is an easy read with cute pics and a gorgeous cover. The pages are printed on recycled paper so she practices what she preaches by respecting the environment. This book gives a comprehensive overview of Wicca that will leave the reader wanting to explore and go more in depth on their own. Blessed Be and Enjoy! <3

As someone who discovered Harmony on YouTube first, this book is incredible. For learning the basics of Wiccan, this has been so helpful in deciding if this is the right path for me. I cannot wait to keep learning and growing with all the wonderful information in this book.

Really informative and helpful but not in a boring way. I would recommend this book to any baby witches and wiccans, everyone who is just getting started, who has been practicing wicca for a while or who is just interested.

Conoscevo già Harmony e finalmente mi sono decisa di acquistare il suo libro. Che dire, è perfetto per chi vuole iniziare o semplicemente vuole saperne di più sul mondo della Wicca dal momento che è scritto veramente in modo semplice e adatto a un pubblico di anche non esperti. Ho apprezzato moltissimo l'inserzione di vari disegni in mezzo ai capitoli. Se avete già delle basi, a meno che non vogliate fare un ripasso, potete anche farne e a meno, perché come detto è veramente molto semplificato e forse alcune parti anche troppo, avrei dedicato più pagine ad alcuni argomenti. L'unica pecca è che forse come struttura/linguaggio mi è sembrato molto simile a Wicca di Scott Cunningham, al quale comunque l'autrice ammette di ispirarsi, ma avrei preferito magari leggere più sue opinioni personali e il suo punto di vista.

If you’re into witchcraft or the faith of Wicca and you’re just starting out Harmony provides easily digestible information for a beginner or even someone seasoned that wishes to reconnect. This book will be a great thing to refer back to!

I absolutely love this book! Harmony did such a wonderful job! Plus it's such a beautiful book! The cover is amazing. I follow Harmony's work on YouTube since so many years now so this book was just something i really wanted to read! I purchased it a long time ago and i keep going back to it. If English isn't your mother tongue you need to be fluent.
