Marshall Premium Ferret Diet, 18-Pound Bag

We have 2 ferrets and they are almost 6 years old. this is all we have fed them their entire lives and they love it. Vet recommended, too. I generally buy this 18 pound bag because it's a good compromise between value and life-of-product. This bag lasts me about 6 months. If I bought the larger 35 pound bag, I may save a few bucks... but the product would be stale by the time they used it all. We keep ours in a rubbermaid container for best results. You can definitely see them get very excited whenever a new, fresh bag of food arrives... which tells me that it does get a little stale after a while. Just keep that in mind when ordering larger quantities. I suppose if you have 4 or 5 ferrets, then you would be going through it faster and the larger bag would make more sense.

Ferrets will eat it. Will rebuy. If they want a recommendation on improvement. Not so much wasted crumbs on the bottom. Bc the ferrets will not eat the crumbs. To avoid waste dumb the crumbs in a bowl and let the feral cats have at it. Can add water, mix and serve it also. But throw it away after 3 hours after serving it due to bacteria. Ferrets will not eat with the water but most cats will. No sure abt dogs

I know there's alot of hate about Marshall ferret food but my ferrets are happy and healthy, I recomend also giving them all meat baby food though. This is definately the best way to buy this, it's around $25 for a 4lbs bag and around $40 for a 7lbs bag at pet stores so $80 for an 18bls bag is a ridiculously good price. I have 2 ferret and it lasts me over 4 months.

My ferrets love this product while I wish it was a little cheaper it is great there is a bigger bag I can get straight to my house so I don't have to worry about feeding my favorite little pesties

This is absolutely amazing stuff! For years, I'd been feeding my ferrets Wal-Mart food because that's all that was easily accessible for me. Once I decided that I needed something a little better quality, I decided to order this. All 5 of my ferrets are 2-4 years old. Never sickly, but my older, 4 yo female has been skinny and just kind of drab looking since I got her. Nothing ever helped her hair or her weight, even ferretvite daily for a year. Until this. My ferrets all nearly DOUBLED in size and their coats - oh my goodness - they are AMAZINGLY fluffy and soft!!! I seriously can't even believe the transformation. I've had ferrets for 20 years and never tried an alternate food until recently, trying to put weight on her. I will never, EVER feed them anything different now. Even my godzila ferret, Caesar, put on about half a pound, and it's NOT fat either! If you've been feeding your ferrets low quality, cheap food, you'll be stunned at how well this food will help with their health and appearance. Yes, all 5 are sleeping in that hammock. :)

Much better than buying the smaller bags in store, saves you money and fewer trips to the store!
