Easy instructions to follow and programmer is plug and play. It only took like 2 min. I had to reinsert the programmer a second time for it to light up but that was the only hiccup. Otherwise, I would highly recommend to everyone before going to dealer and wasting time and money. YouTube has a good installation video of this product too. God bless

This is a devise car dealerships don't want you to know about. Rather than pay a dealer hundreds of dollars to buy and program a new keyless entry fob the Dorman remote programmer does it in seconds, and for under $100.00. It is vehicle specific, so make sure they offer one for your particular vehicle first.

This is so rad and a lifesaver. To hell with the dealers trying to charge over 175 bucks to program a key fob plus another 75 to 80 bucks for the key fob when it took me just a couple minutes and this deal INCLUDES a great key fob! Worked like a charm for my 2019 chevy colorado. I was able to program one right after the other and I couldn't be happier!!! Thank you!!!! There is a video online to show you how to use it!

Dorman 99352 Keyless Entry Remote: I bought this for my 2015 Chevy Silverado. The programming could not have been easier. All you need to do is insert your key turn it to the on position(not start) and then insert the programming module. Once you hear a beep press and hold the lock and unlock buttons utill it beeps again. Turn the key off, remove the module and your complete. It took less than a minute to complete the process. You can use the module to program other remotes if you purchase them later. My packaging said it works on 2014-2015 Chevrolet and GMC vehicles, but their website lists up to 2020. If you are replacing a remote or adding you will need a small key ring, to attach your remote to keys as it comes with none. Not sure how the remote will hold up yet as it does not seem to feel as high quality as the original remote, but now with the programme module I can replace them at any time. Definitely beats a trip to the dealer.

I purchased a 2-pack of fobs with the intent of self programming, only to learn the 2016 Silverado (begins with 2014) can not be self programmed and must be taken to a mechanic or dealer. All hopes to save money is lost. Or so I thought. I discovered the Dorman fob with coding module. $86 for a fob and module. Well, considering the charge the dealership wanted — this is a bargain. To note, it should infuriate you when you find out how easy this is and then think back what the dealership is charging. With that said. (1) You must have an original key and place in the ignition to the on position. (2) Plug the module in to the plug beneath the dash. (3) INSTANTLY... the truck shows on the dash "key learning mode". (4) Hold the lock and unlock buttons down on the fob for 30 seconds — but it actually took 10 seconds. The module works with other brand fobs as well. I purchased the "KeylessOption Keyless Entry Remote Control Car Key Fob For GMC" 2-pack with the chrome accents for $31. Both coded instantly and work perfectly, including the auto-start button. If you need a new fob, Dorman has the solution.

The most important thing to know about this item other than it is very easy to use is that it can only be used with one vehicle. Once it has been used it cannot program fobs for a different vehicle/VIN as it gets "paired" with that first car. That means if it looks like your unit appears as though it may not be brand spanking new then it probably isn't going to work. I suspect that people who report it doesn't work fell victim to some a hole who used it then returned it and got their money back.

Je suis propriétaire d'un 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 HD. Le concessionnaire me demandait 240$ pour la télécommande et 1 heure pour la programmation. Je n'avais rien à perdre avec le porte-clés Dorman. Cela a pris 5 minutes à faire. Plus long de le sortir de son emballage qu'à programmer. Efficace, fiables et toutes les fonctions ( ouverture des portes, démarreur à distance, mémoires de programmation conducteur 1, conducteur 2, etc..) fonctionnent à merveille. Je recommande cet achat.

j étais sceptique ,car GM disais que je devait acheter un module a 1000$ plus la manette 120$ ca méprend beaucoup pour m impressionner ,mais la je suis bloffer!!!! +/-20 secondes et j ai une manette fonctionnel pour mon camion,fait 10 ans que je me battre avec la serrure en hiver 2014 sierra mechante gang de voleur les dealer

Don't get stiffed by the Steelership prices they will want to charge you and DIY. I Programed 3 key fobs in 2 mins with a 2015 Gmc sierra 1500 with 315 MHz freq. This is a great product.
