It seems to deliver for my purposes (12 v LED shed lights storage battery with 60 watt solar panel). Also a trolling motor can draw 60 amps which is way too much for the wire and terminal size on this battery. **Q: I have received 1280 battery instead of 1270.. What is the difference?** A: The 1280 is an 8 Amp Hour battery, the 1270 is a 7 Amp Hour battery. Both are 12 volts with the same connectors. The 1280 will last about 12% longer than the 1270. I have used both in my fiber optic phone backup system. To add to the less than desired shipment, I didn't recognize the brand name on the battery and there was no date of manufacture, so there's no way of knowing how old it really is.
