I bought this hand blender to blend my elderly cat's canned food. It works perfectly! My cat can't eat the meat chunks in his prescribed vet canned food, so I tried this to help puree it up better. It works great! My cat no longer wastes his expensive canned vet food. I love that the top comes off for easy cleaning. I just rinse it with soap & let dry on the counter. Money well spent. This blender was cost effective too, & will work great for whatever you need to blend. Don't wast your money on the more expensive ones. This one will do the job! It is very nice looking too. Comes in various colors.

*Update* Aug. 2021 Yup, I was a novice with this tool. I use it for SO MANY things now! Nothing but joy when utilizing it! Packing was ... on a scale of 1-10: 10 for protecting product as well as ♻️ abilities. I’ve never had an emulsifier (hand blender) so I have nothing to compare it to other than a Blendtec, a hand mixer, or a food processor ... 3 different beasts with varying job descriptions. On one hand, it’s awfully handy and gets the job done ✅ but on the other, it heats up and I worry that I might be using the wrong “tool” for the job. It very well could be, I’m using it wrong OR because it’s new ... maybe I’m just a pure novice ??? Either way, as I said; it gets the job done and I have no complaints. If it proves to be a “bust,” I’ll be sure to update this positive review ... if it’s good after a year ... the positive review remains 👍🏼 Oh, on another note ... This thing is a breeze to clean.

This Is a replacement as the other one burned out. This one doesn't seem to have much longevity in it as well frustrating. Overheated while trying to grind vegetable. Though it did not stop working. I suspect it won't be long before this one will burn out as well.

I bought this for soap making and while it technically works great, I get a lot of air bubbles no matter how many times I "burp" the blender. My old blender that was a different make did not have this problem with making bubbles like this one does. That said, it has a good strong motor, its easy to take apart and reassemble, its easy to clean, and it works very well. I don't think I would buy this for soaping again but I would definitely buy one to use for food prep.

I only had 2 good uses it off it before the motor went out and stopped working. One of the worst purchases ever made.

I've been using the original stick blender for over 20 years, but somehow it got lost or thrown away. With my need to blend protein shakes again, I started looking for a replacement and found this. Though I've only been using it for about 3 months, I'm using it every day and it works perfectly. The detachable mixing stem is a nice touch that makes clean up very quick and easy, without creating a mess on the countertop. As for power, I have an original Ninja blender and this thing does a lot better job on ice cubes and frozen fruit than the ninja does. I haven't detected any unusual smells, as in burnt electricals or overheating issues either. Keep in mind however that I'm only blending smoothies, which take just a few seconds to do. I really can't find a single fault to this mixer. It's absolutely perfect for what I bought it for. I think when Margarita Season fires up, this is gonna be my go to machine.
