WORKED, STOPPED SOLENOID LEAKING
I am not a mechanic. But always do my research! Since I could not purchase these gaskets in U.S for OEM Honda parts without buying the whole solenoid., I bought these from Amazon and purchased same gaskets at Napa. Napa usually has decent quality products. After reading many reviews!!! I went with these because so many people said the gaskets they purchased were not as large as the OEM. The Dorman gaskets were smaller (from Napa) than the OEM and these from Amazon were closer to OEM size. My mechanic put these in and it stopped my leaking from the solenoid. Since so many reviews mentioned the basket, I replaced the new basket with the OEM basket. My car is a Honda Accord and I never had a "check engine light" come on, but after the replacement I did have my light come on and the code said, VALVE PAUSE SYSTEM PERMANENTLY STUCK. But when the mechanic turned the car engine off to check description of code then turned engine back on, the light went away and never came on again. Who knows!!! It has been 3 weeks and all is well.

248k Accord fixed for less than 10 bucks
Ordered Thursday nite and got at 3PM Sat. O rings said made in china. You cannot get these from Honda. Took about 45 minutes to replace old ones. Mine were leaking during the first 15 minutes the car was started. It's a 2009 EXL Accord with 248K. The leak was only visable when the car was first started. It would drip down on the altenator and eventually the exhaust. While sitting at a light you could smell the burnoff if the HVAC was on. The orings were very good quality and fit perfectly. No more leak. Good quality and can"t beat the price for such an easy fix. Update: 11/22/2024 4 years later and 40K+ miles (289k) and no leaks. I thought maybe I should get a spare set of o rings before Trump's Tariff's on China made parts kicks in.

Stopped the leak
This stopped the leak!! But I did get a check engine light from the screen but itโs super easy to pull out the screen in this one and put in the stock screen and you wonโt have a check engine light. I wish I would of took pics. Iโve had a leak for over a year and everytime my car says 50% oil life I would be 2.5Q low on oil. Thanks for the super cheap option instead of having to buy the whole VVT kit from auto zone they donโt just sell the gasket kits anymore.

UPDATE: Failed after 4-5 months
They worked well on my 2010 Odyssey. No more leaking and no error messages. Oil the gaskets before installation. Tighten all screws gradually and evenly until torque spec of 6 lb-ft. UPDATE: The gasket failed after 4-5 months. The oil leak was worse than before. I replace them again with another set. It stopped leaking. I guess it will last for another few months. The bad ones were flat after they were removed. I think the material is not right and has lost elasticity with time.

Worked for 6 months, then leaked.
Worked for 6 months.....I purchased and installed this 'Labwork' brand replacement Vtec gasket kit in my 2008 Honda Accord in early March 2025, re-using the existing OEM screen as numerous reviews suggest (torqued to 6 ft/lb). It did fit and fixed my leak issue until mid-Oct. 2025 when this Labwork replacement Vtec gasket began to leak. So I got the 6 months or so of life out of it, as you'll notice seems to be the norm for this brand. Whadda ya expect for $8, right? This time I'm ordering the Dorman brand version of the Vtec gasket kit and am hoping for better service life.

They do what they're supposed to do, but I had to replace them again after a few months.

Do not buy this seal!! it leaked in just 3 months... not worth at all. I purchased and installed in April with torquing as per required pressure, it installed and worked fine for three months without leaks. In July it started leaking again and now my Alternators is also damaged because of this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.
