Used this to wire in pond pumps and accessories. It saves plugging and unplugging and/or having to access outdoor sockets. So pump maintenance now is just the flick of a switch or two. It requires patience to install, because the terminals are close together and fiddly. But once done it works as advertised. NB: This is 5amp total, so it won’t take a big load. It is protected inside by a 5amp quick blow 20mm glass fuse for which no spare is provided; it’s surely a good idea to have a couple on standby. Overall, well made and good value.

Very good product. Installing was easy. Just the terminals could be a little larger. Did struggle with some of the wires.

Very easy to set up. Well made. Connections were slightly fiddly but nowhere near as bad as with some others I've seen. Switches are robust and the unit is working very well indeed.

I have had one of these control my pond for several years, until recently when water penetration destroyed it. A bought another and subsequently remembered the problems with the previous one, with the connector blocks where the apertures are on the very small size making the insertion of normal cable diameters difficult and fiddly.

It was extremely difficult to get the unit open despite all of the retaining screws being loosened.
