Sensor Brite Overlite Wireless Motion-Activated Ceiling/Wall LED Light, Stick Anywhere, Overhead Light

Just got this light today and put it up in the ceiling of a closet that had no wiring for a light. Easy to install - the back twists off easily, put in 3 of your own AA batteries. Then peel off the cover for the adhesive panel, and up it went into the closet ceiling. The motion lighting works just as it should, the light is bright and it stays on for just long enough after the closet door is closed to be effective. First impressions is this is a quality item, worth the few dollars more than a cheaper alternative. Oh, if you want you can also use the screws and anchors to attach the rear cover to the ceiling. I'll keep those little pieces around so if the adhesive does ever loosen, screwing it up will be just fine.

I had those kind of lights before from another brand, but I never was impressed by the amount of light they displayed. So I decided to go with those, to see the difference. And WOW, they put quite the light show ! After accomplishing the challenge of the impenetrable clam-shell packaging, I inserted the 3 AA required batteries (not included), and I was ready to use the light. This light is super bright, and it will come right on after inserting the last battery. So avoid to look at it if you don't go temporary blind. Light is around 4 inches in diameter. It has a 3M double sided patch tape on the back, but that's pretty much all it came with in the box though. The detachable base has some holes in it, in case you choose to mount it more permanently somewhere (again, you will have to provide the mounting hardware). At the end, I was so pleased with those that I order 3 more ! So in short... GOOD: - VERY bright light, and will light up a large area. - Has a more diffused light beam. - Feels sturdy and less cheaply made than other brand I tested in the past. - Will turn on ONLY when motion is detected AND when it's dark where the light is. - Once triggered, light stays on for around 20 seconds (or as long as movement is detected). - Comes with a 3M double sided patch tape already installed on the back. - Not too expansive. NOT SO GOOD: - VERY sensitive to any little movement. - Will not trigger only in total dark area, but in medium lighted area as well. - NO magnetic back. Shame, because if you need to temporary mount it on a metal surface you cannot. - Mounting hardware NOT included.

I got this light for my coat closet. I stuck it to the ceiling and tried it out and found I had to reach over halfway into the closet to get the light to come on. So I decided to move it toward the back of the closet. When I pulled the light down I broke two of the three tabs on the light. I taped the light back to the mounting bracket and stuck it back up. Now it works great. Comes on when I open the door. So don't do what I did. If you need to move it twist the light off the mounting bracket first and then peel the bracket off the ceiling.

Love these. Had one above my doorway in my old apartment. Now have them for the house for when you come to the door. Allows me not to need to leave the porch light on but still have light when I get home at night. Motion sensing works great too.

This is the best stick ip light on the market. It is very bright which is what I wanted. I had purchased another brand that was not as bright! I will purchase this again! Very pleased 😀

OK....I normally don't do reviews but I have a love/hate/frustrated relationship with this light. I bought another version a few weeks back and there was no motion detection. I returned it as that's what I need it for...well what I need is a light that will come on in the dark OR motion detection and wasn't finding it worked so when I saw this one with a remote to turn on, I figured well maybe this will work. Bottom line, it turns on whenever the hell it feels like no matter how much motion you give it. I use it in the shower as there's a window in my shower so when it's dark outside I can't see myself in the mirror. There's other lights in the bathroom but need a light over the shower so basically need something that will come on when I'm in front of it really regardless of how light/dark it may be. Instead of trying to return this one (I think I threw the package out anyway), I decided to go ahead and keep it and try to use it in another area of the house; meanwhile, I bought another light that specifically has an on option that will stay on until you turn it off as well as motion sensitive. I took this light down and once I did, it lit up during the day (so the motion worked) so then I thought maybe it needs to be lower (which makes no sense if you move anywhere around it). In any case, I moved it lower while waiting for the new light. The remote is a joke...you turn it on and it stays on for about 5 seconds. Got the new light yesterday and once I walked in the shower in the daylight to install it (almost like mocking me), this light lit bright and stayed on the entire time I was in the shower installing the new light! Unbelievable! The only positive thing I can say the light is very bright...brighter than the new light I have but doesn't matter if it's fickle about when it comes on!

I leave early for work, while it's still dark, and exiting out my back door is an issue -- if I turn the patio light on, it stays on until i get home from work. I tried putting the patio lights on a timer, and that worked-ish, but still wasn't what I needed, which was just a small light to come on and turn off after a moment. I tried some cheapo stores lights that are similar to this, but they were solar powered and didn't last more than a week or so. I like that these are AA and not AAA, which SHOULD mean longer life. At any rate, I installed this on the patio ceiling, right above my back door, so now the second I swing the door open I am lit up - plenty of light to find my keys and lock the door, plenty to walk to the car with. And it flicks itself off. I'm going to install the second one in a dark closet, and am considering buying another pair for under counter lighting. A great buy, couldn't recommend more highly!

Very bright and the motion sensor works great. I get a little more than the 10 feet that it says is the max distance. Easy to install with the screws (or tape). To replace the batteries is easy (turn the unit counter-clockwise) to detach from the base. I did not use the tape to attach the light and I doubt that you would be able to remove the battery case (and light) without ripping the tape off the surface you mounted it on. It takes a really good amount of twisting to separate the two pieces. Maybe someone else can comment on the tape mounting strength.

This is a RIP of price wise.. product is good but price at amazon is 40 percent more than u can buy locally.. so be aware..

This is this area the bathroom that my light doesn't reach to when the sun goes down. I just make sure I put it an area where there is absolutely no light otherwise it doesn't work.
