Spent a week in France. This was very helpful. I bought a couple of plug adapters for the dual voltage items we brought. I got this to handle the single voltage items and have a phone charger rolled into one. Worked perfectly. I was able to charge a portable battery, 2 cell phones, one with fast charging, and run a CPAP machine at the same time. At one point I tried drawing too many amps. All of the above devices plus my laptop was too much, and the device stopped giving consistent power to the outlets. All I did was unplug the laptop and turned the device off for a few seconds and it started working normally again. Would definitely recommend!

I think this product is great to have for traveling whether it is within the US or abroad. First off this product creates two power outlets that you can use for bigger devices like hair dryers and such. In the US, you can just use this to create more power slots although I would not recommend daisy chaining off of this (plugging a surge protector into it). I would only plug the device directly into this. The device does need to be powered on in order to start using so it is not just a plug in go. The power button is located on the side. It does not generate a lot of heat. I do notice that it does get warm the more ports you use so keep this in a well ventilated space. Another thing I would say is that the product is good to have for travel although it can be a little bulky it provides two extra plugs, all the plug adapters, and several USB ports one being QI charging so you can charge your device with fast charge. The other USB ports are just normal usb ports so be aware of that when using the ports for charging. You will not be getting fast charging from them. Overall this product I think is great it gives a person a few additional options when traveling

Light portable, quiet. Concerns with fan noise from other comments. We did not find this a problem. We purchased for emergency nebulizer use... Fortunatly only used for our travel clock. Frequency was a concern as Europe's electricity is running on 50Hz opposed to US on 60Hz. Per research the nebulizer motor would be 20% less officiant. I did not think to run it overseas for test... duh. Video attached is a bench test prior to our trip.

I ever bought one power converter that the seller indicated can be used for hair straightener. However, it was not workable at all. I returned it and bought one from this seller. I tried this one during my last week's trip to Thailand. My hair straightener works perfectly, no overheat, no smells. the USB ports also work perfectly to charge my pad and phone. Amazing product.

If I could rate this POS 0 stars I would. I'm writing this from Australia. I bought this adapter to use on our trip to Australia and New Zealand. To say this POS is finicky is an understatement. And NO DIRECTIONS. That's fun. I finally figured out the configuration of parts and plugged it in, hit the 'on' button. It went on,,,, and off. Over and over again because unless you put each piece just so, this thing WON'T STAY ON. If I could've thrown this piece of crap out the window I would have but Australia has strict littering policies. DO NOT BUY THIS POS UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND UNTOLD TIME CONFIGURING THE PARTS AND WIRES JUST SO.... IN HOPES THAT THE ON LIGHT STAYS ON. WJAY A WASTE OF MONEY. And just so you know I'm a world traveler. I bought this to replace the one I loaned to a friend and told her to keep,it. For the price I was charged this company should be ashamed of themselves.

I bought this converter for a European trip that included a river cruise. We needed it to power my wife's favorite curling iron and to charge electronics through the USB ports. The 230 watt upper limit wasn't a problem since river cruise ships won't allow clothes irons or any heating appliance that runs on higher wattages. Although I had seen specs for some converters that wouldn't work with low watt appliances, we had no problem with a makeup mirror that has a 20 watt built-in light. Operation was simple, dependable and quiet.

I would really not recommend this item. We thought it would be a great purchase since you are supposed to be able to connect several items at a time. This is only if you connect small things like a phone or, as it was my case, my phone at the same time that I was charging my bike computer and lights. When I tried to charge my laptop or iPad, the converter would automatically shut off. Not sure if it is just a faulty unit, or if it happens all the time. Additionally, and perhaps it was mentioned some place on the description and I did not read, it does not have the adaptor for Italy, so half of my trip I could not use it. Oh well. It somehow worked and was somewhat useful

Excellent adapter! Perfect surface design! Pleasantly surprised to find that it will work with an input of 100-240VAC which means it can be used as an adapter using the US 110 outlet as well as overseas with 220 out. Tried all outlets using 110 voltage and cell phones and ipad charged fine. last week, i went to Europe trip and so happy this helped me so much! Converter worked perfectly using both the usb outlets as well as the ac outlets. Would recommend and buy again!!
