PEDAL COMMANDER for Chevrolet Corvette C7 2017-2019 Throttle Controller

The Pedal Commander works as describe. Easy to install. Add the app to control the controller and with a yearly $9.99 you can add the anti theft. There is a definite difference in throttle lag.

This device does exactly what it says it does. It removes the two to three tenths of a second mush out of my electronic accelerator on my 2021 C8. Very easy to install and only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Four different driving modes with four different settings each. The Sport+ mode is really for track purposes only but I love the City and Sport Mode along with the ease of the app as well. I definitely recommend this product.

The device itself def changes the way the car drives, it almost feels like a different car. It took me a few minutes to get used to how sensitive the accelerator is. I recommend the device, but as a warning, the “instructions” on the app are a joke. It shows 4 almost comically simple steps, one of which is “turn off the car and leave the door open for 15 min”. The remaining 3 have no detail whatsoever. If this was a rocket to the moon, the instructions would be “get into rocket, turn it on, go to the moon”. In reality, you will need to be under the steering wheel /dash area, remove a bolt to remove the gas pedal, disconnect the wires, then figure out how to hook up the device. There’s a YouTube video of someone installing a competitors version of this, and it shows how to actually do this. I’m not someone who works on my car at all, and I was able to successfully hook it up in approx 30-45 min, but only bc of the YouTube video. Without it, I would have given up and returned it. 4 stars bc the directions are a joke, but once it’s installed it is def worth buying.

It does what it says. It gives you the functionality to change the throttle response on your vehicle. The GM car has a fly by wire throttle that is spongy and not very responsive. Pedal Commander eliminates this. I use the City setting which gives your vehicle the response of an "old school" throttle cable, with a 1:1 pedal-to-throttle ratio. It was an easy install, just follow the instructions. I have a 2012 C6 Grand Sport M6 with a semi built LS3. The car has a centrifugal supercharger, stage 2 cam, ARH headers, tune, MGW shifter box and short throw shifter and puts down 625 RWHP & 555 RWTQ. The Pedal Commander completes the car with the improved throttle response, it is even more of a blast to drive!

Dangerous and unpredictable - gimmicky. Makes your pedal either uncontrollably sensitive (not in a good way) or unpredictably unresponsive & laggy. Zero increase in acceleration at low, mid, or high range. No change to 0-60. You can’t trick your car in to being faster with a $300.00 toy. Especially high end complex cars.

Good luck using this on anything over City Mode , especially if you manually shifting. Did it make the Z06 faster ? Ehh . Just more responsive. Install should be simple , but difficult on a corvette. Tight spaces and all

Easy installation Works wonders!

Excellent product and did exactly what it said it would do. Throttle response was immediate if that is how you wanted it setup. Tools approx 20 minutes to install up.

The Pedal Commander actually feels different when in use. Installation was simple but not easy. I installed it on my C6 automatic Corvette. To begin with, the instructions were to scan the code on the included card..this did not work. A you tube video solved any questions as to the "how" but getting to the pedal assembly is an extremely hard and awkward thing to do. Removing the pedal assembly with a 13mm socket and small ratchet handle is definitely the way to go.This put the assembly in front of the drivers seat and installation of the Pedal Commander unit was a breeze. Re-installing the pedal assembly was easier than removal and once the loose cable was secured, it was ready to go. The various settings from Eco/City/Sport/Sport+ and associated settings have a noticeable affect on the throttle response.

I really liked the unit.. Made the pedal really touchy.. In sport+ trying to go slow is pretty hard in first gear lol Only problem is for some reason it interfered with my stereo display. When plugged in I lost my display screen but thankfully it came back when I disconnected the unit so for this reason I don't recommend the unit as others I talked to lost their screen entirely at a cost of over $2000 to fix.
