This buffered C powder was first recommended by our ND for part of a detox protocol, and then at a lower dose as part of a hydration and electrolyte balancing. Usually I add just a pinch or half the (included) scoop into a litre or gallon of water or homemade lemonade to sip throughout the day. I add it to my homemade lemonade as the plain taste is a bit chalky, and it does dissolve really well in lemonade. Easy to measure as the scoop is included. Can be added to a smoothie or cold fruit tea or juice. This blend is not just the vitamin C, but is a buffered formula meant to be softer on digestion (C can feel acidic), however the magnesium will stimulate bowel movement when ingested past your personal tolerance. Best to test out by using less at first. This can last our family awhile depending on time of year, whether anyone has gotten sick, and is a standard in our home. Unfortunately the price has increased significantly.
