Some ceramic grinders appear to be made from toughened glass, are yours?

Hello, Thanks for your interest in our products. There are some products that advertise as having toughened glass, however, I'm not sure how accurate this is. Toughened glass is generally used in building and construction and not normal day to day products. Where were these made?

I don't think they are. When you search for salt and pepper grinders on Amazon the first 4-5 top sellers are all almost identical, with the only difference being the logo on them. They all have the exact same dimensions, including these. Disapointing given the product harps on about being from a "True British Family Business".

Hi, is there a difference between the salt & pepper grinder please? I want to use them both for peppercorns.

Neither are marked with S or P. The grinders look the same to me. I have Himalayan salt granules in one and it grinds the same as the pepper one. I hope that helps but you could contact seller to be 100% sure. I am pleased with mine a so far.

Can these be washed? Both the glass container and the grinder part?

No problem washing the glass not sure about the grinder part with it being metal there may be a problem with rusting If I were to try that I’d wash it normally then dip it into boiling water so the metal would be so hot as to dry it almost immediately then I’d stand it on a radiator to clear any further damp
