Review: Beautiful butterfly - My mom loves Butterflies and has a very large collection, and its hard to find one she doesn't have. So i was very happy to find this! the butterfly shipped with no problems, there is a smell to it like others have said but its not bad and in 2 days it was gone, because it is pushed up against the glass and the padding, but NOT SMASHED! just really snug. there is a little of the butterfly scales ( the little hairs on the wings ) are pushed around the outer edge of the butterfly. its not a big deal and for the price its a very small con. the frame it comes in is not bad its glass on a wood frame that seems to be dipped in a heavy dark brown paint its not cheap looking but not high end looking either. The only thing i don't like about it is, i wish it was mounted differently placed in the middle and not snug under padding and the glass . but like i said its not a deal breaker for the price. it is still a very different and very beautiful butterfly i will be buying more for her collection. Beautiful butterfly

Arrived quick! Won't fly though, keep trying to feed it but it's just falling apart. I'm thinking he didn't survive the trip.

Item not as pictured. Mine was missing all of the scientific names. Tag just gave the common name :( so item is not as pictured.

Save your money
Initially strong odor of moth balls ( no pun ). The insect was poorly mounted on styrofoam with a large indentation for the torso. The antennae were not separated and appeared as one. The insect name was typed on a small piece of paper and pasted to the styrofoam. All in all, a very amateur job. Based on this presentation I will not buy from this company again.

Perfect!
There was some delivery issues, but they were addressed promptly. Such a stunning specimen! I am very pleased. Would order again despite the long wait for arrival. Well worth the wait. :)

Over All pleased
The specimen had very little scent. It did take a little bit to arrive but I am very pleased with it. The hardware to hang the frame on the wall wasn’t center but it was an easy fix on my part.
