Lasts freaking forever
To everyone who says the numbers come off - rookie mistake. This happens on ALL, 100% of syringes, no matter the brand. Cover with clear packing tape before first use. We remove the oring, spray, run thru dishwasher, reassemble with a drop of olive oil, and have used the same set of 15 for daily use for well over 3 years now. 3 stars for quality - the plastic isn't as thick as other brands and has cracked on the edge of the plunger on a couple, but still usable. 5 stars for the oring. Critical component for reuse. 5 stars for novelty. This is the ONLY 60 luer oring I've ever found in existence. Tip for seller - we mod the luer lock by cutting the outer ring off, to make it a luer slip tip, and we can then use it to feed directly into a gt button. If you could sell luer SLIP TIP, there's a huge market there of people who feed blended enteral and would love to go direct to button, who aren't as handy with a utility blade.

These are awesome for tube feeding
I have only used one of these about 10 days so far for tube feeding a chicken 2-3 times a day and it is still smooth. Yes to get the silicone washer and the area it's in properly clean you have to either pry out the washer (not that difficult but definitely could be easier) or maybe get a brush in there all around it. Still that's better than maybe getting 2-3 days out of a syringe.

Not worth it!
ML measuring lines on plastic are rubbing off after less than a week of use and the o-ring has to be removed after every use in order to properly clean/disinfect it as the formula/milk gets trapped inside of the area. Very disappointing! Definitely not worth what I paid.

So much better than the rubber ones!
I was blowing through the rubber ones the vet gave me for my dog's feeding tube, constant sticking. I have been using the same one of these for 3 weeks, no sticking! Nice and easy to use, the part where you press is wider so it's easier to use and it has a backstop so you don't accidentally pull the plunger out and spray food on yourself. If you have an animal with a feeding tube, invest the money and save yourself the grief. These end up being cheaper after a month of those rubber ones giving out anyway!

The markings wear off with rinsing
Love the silicon rings. Makes smooth pushing for feeding our cat with an E-tube. However it’s very disappointing that the markings wear off with water rinsing. We had to put packing tape on the markings to preserve them. Otherwise this is a really good tool for E-tube feeding.

Life Saver!
I was hesitant when I read the other negative reviews. I was new to the process of tube feeding my dog and was horrified by the single-use tubes - considering that I needed 12 a day! It's true that some of the food gets stuck under the tip, but it's not a problem. I bought enough for a days' feeding and I put them in the dishwasher each night and am confident they are sterilized. When re-inserting the plunger, I find it helps to wiggle the plunger at a few different angles to get it in - rather than trying to plunge straight in - and then it glides in easily. You can also try running medium-hot water in the capsule to soften it before inserting the plunger. You can refer to my short video to see how I do it. Best of luck. Tube feeding my dog was a steep learning curve, but it was so worth it. She is doing so much better now and starting to eat on her own again. I no longer have to fight with her to take her pills - I just crush them and put them through the tube, and if she doesn't want to eat a meal, no big deal, I feed her myself through the tube. She has learned to ask for meals by standing by the Breville Boss (after trying NutriBullet and every competing product, the Breville is truly the best). I call her tube (or "snorkel) the "nutrition line" which has taken all of the stress out of getting her the nutrition she needs to stay healthy and happy and I will hopefully have her for many more years to come!! Good luck!!

For "reusable" they don't last long.
The syringe itself works beautifully. Plunger glides easily. But I bought these because they were reusable. And yes... the plunger still glides effortlessly but the numbers on the side for dosage/amount rub off super easily. Since I need ti track how much I'm feeding my cat, this us not helpful. I tried remarking one with sharpie. Still wore off. Now I've tried scratching the tube at the 10 count marks. Which gives me a general idea, but since we are tracking to the ml for food intake it is frustrating. It is nice to have the 60ml syringe because out goal is 60 per feeding, but if he won't take all of it, week need to know what's left. 😕

Doesn’t last as advertised
These do not last the amount of washes as advertised. After 30 or so washes, the o-rings would get caught in the tube and twist so that there was no suction or it would leak. Many of the plungers also broke which created the same issue. They also became very difficult to use. I know it was recommended to use a sticker to prevent the measurement marks from washing off but I would expect the syringes to come with a sticker if this is a known problem and the product is advertised to last over 100 washes. It was better than using single use syringes to reduce waste but saving plastic comes at a different kind of cost.
