Feels just like a bench at the gym
I've been doing dumbbell workouts nearly everyday on this bench for 2 months now. Things I like about this bench: • Feels well made and sturdy. • Foldable form is perfect for apartment living. • Mine doesn't wobble, like at all. • That foothold thing is optional, you'll notice I didn't attach it to my bench. • Some other foldable benches sit really high off the ground for some reason, this one is normal height. • I appreciate that the design is low profile and doesn't look obnoxious next to my furniture. Areas of concern: • I saw other reviewers say that the nub in the locking mechanism got bent during bench press. I would not bench press with this bench, just because the locking mechanism doesn't inspire that much confidence for me. However I did stress test this bench by laying it flat, sitting on the upper edge while holding two 70 lb dumbbells, and bouncing up and down on the seat to see if it would break. It did not feel like it would give. I also regularly do chest press with two 70 lb dumbbells on this thing. This bench feels very sturdy and I am not worried at all that the locking mechanism will have any issues during dumbbell exercises. I also have the feeling that the people that had bent locking mechanisms possibly didn't twist it all the way in like you're supposed to. However, if I do have problems with this bench, I will definitely update this review. • The upright height isn't enough to lay your head against for overhead press. I thought this would be annoying but it turns out it doesn't really matter at all, since I could scoot forward in the seat and lean back so that my head is supported by the bench. Also doing overhead press without leaning your head back is not even unpleasant. Overall, this bench is high quality and fills all my needs. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Update: A little over 4 years later, that little nub finally broke off. I have the powerblocks barbell attachment, and I've been setting the bar (roughly) onto the bench after doing shoulder shrugs. The full weight of that is 200 pounds (90kg). I was doing that for a year before it broke. Thought I'd update the review, but it looks like they changed this listing to a different product so it doesn't matter that much anymore I guess.

This bench has it all!
I have not been to the gym in a year. Being an older somewhat of an athlete, I have stuff lying around the garage. Old barbells, dumb bells and the such. Still I never felt comfortable laying on the floor or using the kitchen chairs for support. This past Christmas I ordered this chair. Why did I wait so long?!!! It is SUPERB. It arrived practically assembled. 10 minutes is all it took to get it ready. It is extremely portable AND sturdy enough to hold my 230 lb frame and any weight I use. The multiple angles alone make this a great bench/chair. The sleek design takes up very little space plus it looks good too! You will not find a more better built, better looking, or better value than this!

not perfect, but close - part 2
The bench arrived today, and upon the minimal assembly required, I decided to make some upgrades before I had even used it. These were not absolutely necessary, but doing so enhanced the sturdiness and overall usability. First, i added some duct tape around the inserted part of the legs to minimize movement. Second, I added two inside washers to the leg/ankle holder since it moves up and down. Third, I drilled two additional holes in the main bench bracket to provide two additional incline placements for the back/main support. Finally, I drilled a hole in the steel "pin" that holds the bench together and allows for the bench to be folded for storage. Doing this allowed me to use a "cotter" pin to a. make sure the pin didn't fall out while using the bench, and b. insure that it will not fall out and get lost when storing the bench. All in all, an excellent bench. Arrived less than a week after ordering (w/o any damage), and was super easy to assemble. The company even provided two wrenches (w/three different metric openings) to assemble the bench. Nice welds, minimal movement (after the aforementioned mods), lightweight and storable. Though I thought that the leg support rollers locked into place, and that there was a higher incline for the butt portion of the bench, it is still extremely versatile and held up nicely for my first workout. Not sure I would want to use it to rep out 235 lb bench presses, but am not at all concerned with doing 100 lb dumbell presses. For the price and convenience, this would be really hard to top. Very happy! Update: so, I had to go back and drill another hole so that the back support would actually lay flat. (it still is not completely flat because the butt/seat support section is slightly off.) Also, when I had the bench in the decline position (for the back support) the ends of the metal support rails dug into my back so much so that it was too painful to continue. I ended up wrapping and taping the ends, but still need to lay a towel across the gap when doing decline position(s). Rethinking my original review and knocking off a star. Just really poor quality control concerning the "missing" holes and the oversight concerning the ends of the metal rods digging into your back while using.

Where have you been all my life?
I've been screwing around at home on a blow up balance ball to try to mimic the exercises I use to be able to do at the gym. While I appreciate the glute workout I wasn't actually trying to get when I used the ball, it was too limited to actually do more than awkward presses. I saw this bench and almost peed myself. The price was perfect and it looked very sturdy in the photos. It got here quickly and I assembled it (very easy...thank you so much for that). It is just what I was looking for. Super sturdy bench, adjusts like a dream, light enough to move where I need it without any help (I'm a 5'3", 130 lb female). But heavy enough to stay where it suppose to. No wobble, nothing. I've done everything I know how to do on this bench and it is stable. Leg lifts, hip thrusts, overhead pulls, inclines, declines....all of it with heavy (heavy for me) weights. This bench stays where it is suppose to stay and I absolutely love it!

Nice solid bench. Works as intended. Can be folded away for storage. Shipping was prohibitory expensive, but I suppose it is quite bulky.

Great bench ,I have only one problem the seat should be just as wide as the ankle supports , the seat is 1ft wide and ankle supports is 1 ft 4inch wide I have large legs @ 25” each , so when doing any incline workout the backs of my knees rest half off the seat makes it a little unstable and dig’s into the backs of the knees , otherwise it’s sturdy , backrest and seat padding is good

I use this for my home workouts with weights. The bench comes in three pieces and took 5 minutes to assemble. Very easy. It's heavy to move but that's expected. Not much to dislike - the bench folds away in 20 seconds and is quite compact and slides under my table. It's also - when flat - a bit lower to the ground than some of the benches I've used in gyms, which - for me - is a positive. I also use it on my wooden floor when inside, and it has plastic feet which have not marked anything yet. I benched 40kg without the bench wobbling, so all good so far. I haven't used the round pads around the end of the bench though (presumably for hooking your feet under and doing sit ups). Good value for money.

This is a great bench for the money. It doesn't get 5 stars because although it's good it's not perfect. The faults: It arrived with quite a few dinks and scratches It's not straight, it's not out by much, when I look from above its kinked The welding is messy, the spatter hasn't been cleaned off properly before painting. The backrest covering is creased in one corner as it's not fitted correctly. For me personally I would have liked the 90 degree position if it were about 85 degrees None of the above affect the function of the bench although I did slide off the bench in the decline position The good bits: It's sturdy and stable, it has the best maximum load I could find for the money. I've had 350 lb on it so far and it hasn't budged. It has a good range from decline to 90 degrees It feels safe, the locking bolts to adjust the seat and a backrest feel secure and strong It's very, very easy to assemble It's easy to fold up and store. The padding is good. What's not to like, would recommend it
