Our kids request this every time I have a fire going. We have found that we get the best results if you use a log cabin style fire and lay them on the middle of one of the pieces of lumber. It takes a little longer to see the colors because the log has to burn under it, but once it starts you see more of the colors easier. Otherwise it's hard to see the purple and blue, mostly the green.

Purchased these for our summer camping trips and it was a huge hit. The kids had a great time putting it in the fire and watching the multiple colors come alive. The little packets are easy to pack away and open and put in the fire. They store well for future use too. I just wish they would last a bit longer but for the price it was a fun novelty item. I would definitely purchase again to have on hand for bonfires or even in the backyard fire pit, not just for camping.

These multi colored flame granula's are so fun to through on our outside fire at night. When the grandkids are sitting around the fire with us grandpa throws some in without them seeing and their eyes just litell up in excitement.

We use it every time

This adds a little fun to a camp fire or beach bonfire. The only downside is that it's not recommended to cook any food over the fire after this is thrown in because of the toxins that can be released from the packets. We had to put off our smore-making and do it over the stove after realizing this but it just made our night more interesting. Can't beat that!

I love using these for s’more time with the kids. Just remember add papered before lighting the wood, for a lasting beautiful color display.

I ordered these for a family camping trip. I remembered these fondly from my childhood and wanted to surprise everyone. After the last smore was cooked, I threw a couple into the campfire. It was easy to use, you don't even open the packet (so safely handled) and the colors were spectacular. Delivery of the item was also on time.

Excellent!! One package easily lasted 20+ minutes. Must be placed into an "active fire" will not ignite in burning embers. Mesmerizing...we absolutely love it! I highly recommend. Long duration and incredible dancing colours!

Great for all ages as this adds lots of colour to the campfire/fireplace. Out of all the ones I have tried this item gives the best, strongest, and longest lasting colours to the fire. Simple to use and best results by adding to a well burning part of fire into the flames, not just coals. I am getting an average of >15 minute per packet. As the contents are chemical in nature the packet does NOT need to opened, just place in the fire.
