Men's Cowboy/Biker Terminator Real Leather Ankle Boots

Brilliant boots, a bit tight around the foot but bought some boot stretchers and now they fit perfect and look really smart. Have had plenty of positive comments

Good fit (a little on the big side which suits my wide feet), looks exactly as described (the brown leather is a little darker than I expected but that's all) and surprisingly comfortable. Only had them a day so can't comment on their longevity but they seem well made. Most impressive thing is that I wore them for an entire day out as soon as they arrived and have had no blisters or chaffing at all. The raised heel took a little getting used to (about an hour) and were a little uncomfortable at first but even with my knackered old flat feet I could run in them by the end of the day. Pretty damn good.

(2024 review) I bought them again since it has always been a good purchase, BUT now they start to look and feel different compared to when I started buying them. Still good quality and still feels solid, but now this gives an impression of being from a different manufacturer, even the model looks/feels slightly different as well. They seem longer/bigger whilst at the same time being narrower now. I always buy the same size, however, if I wear thick socks the boots are too narrow now. I will start by using thinner socks since it's leather, and then they will (hopefully) widen out with a couple of weeks of wear and tear. Therefore, my most important point to potential buyers is precisely this, they might now be too narrow for some people, because they are not 100% the same boots they used to be.. (2019 review) Yet again, buying the same boots, never been let down (this time I got brown) just love them, nothing wrong, all good, solid quality, I am sure as per usual they will last me a couple of years, then I will come back and buy again. (2016 review) I just bought these again, they are soooo good it beggars belief, they just keep going and going and last for years and years even though I use them very frequently. Once this pair is worn out as well I will with 100% certainty buy another pair again, NO regrets at all at any level. Good quality perfect fit very comfy

These boots are absolutely fabulous. First they feels sturdy solid, but also they are incredibly warm, and the best of all. No blisters when you first wear them. They feel like slippers and really are extremely comfortable. Size wise they are perfect fit. Easy to put on, and are excellent for walking or using if you bike. At that price tag... I m impressed

Best boots I have had in a long time. The look great and are wearing far better than I could have hoped for. I'm used to wearing Harvey Williams or Loake which are both great boots however, they both wear out very quickly. These boots have a great leather upper and a fantastic sole and heel. I have worn these continuously for over 3 months, in the garden, mucking about with the car and at work, so far you could be forgiven for thinking the sole hasn't been worn at all. Whatever rubber they use it is extremely hard wearing but not hard underfoot. The leather has broken in very well and now takes a polish nicely. I'm almost tempted to buy another pair in case these guys stop making them.

It's been nearly 20 years since I last bought a pair of boots and I am genuinely surprised how good these are for the money. If, like me, you have mainly worn shoes, then you will need to get used to the higher heal and the abrupt change in slope of the insole just in front of the heal edge. That said, half an hour of wear and I can hardly notice it. They are slip-ons, with an elasticated side, so expect a little movement and slip while walking. Some thick socks can resolve this to a large degree but there will always be a little bit of play. The heal is just over an inch (about 2.5 cm) tall and given the depth of the boot sole, I think these should stand a good deal of use. The upper leather arrives matt black but takes a shine reasonably well. The leather is very supple, so there is no need to break these in before a long period of use. That suppleness does, however, come at a price; the leather is quite thin. Only time will tell if this is a weakness but I expect that regular polishing will maintain the uppers in good order - that same goes for all shoes. The style is equally at home with my boot-cut jeans or with an Edwardian three piece suit that I have; that is a real surprise! Well worth the money and I will certainly consider these again when the time comes for replacement.

Awkward to put on and take off, so if you have problems gripping things you might be best off looking for other boots. They're quite firm when wearing them, so comfort insoles are a good idea. Hopefully they'll break in soon, and feel better. But until then I've given them a three star review. I'll update it if there's any improvement in all round comfort.
