I've used this POE device in conjunction with a GPOE-1AB splitter to deliver 28 VDC to a remote Ethernet device. It appears to have no effect on the 300 MBPS Ethernet data (We do not have 1 GPS service yet). You should be aware before purchasing that this device only does Power Over Ethernet on pairs 4 & 5 and 7 & 8, and this cannot be changed. Use a different device to use the other pairs. Customer service by this company is also excellent.

I purchased dozens of these during the past several years and did not notice a power supply is not included. But on the bright side, this will power any PoE device, even those not requiring 48 volts. Try plugging in a 24 volt supply into other POE injectors and in most cases, they will not power-up. This one does. As for the rating...What on Earth is sheerness? I purchased a PoE adapter, not a pair of panty hose.

Couldn't get it to work. Tried several 12V power supplies and different Ethernet cables. It couldn't power up my POE router. The LED turns on but it doesn't work. The router works fine with a different POE.

The internal schematic sealed the deal, you see how simple the design is. These are much more flexible and lower cost than passive pigtail adapters. Note: These devices are polarity specific, positive and negative. If you have polarity flipped, no power will pass through.

I use these injectors in my battery box builds. I like them because I can pair them with different voltage step-ups in my 12v systems and get the power I need to run the desired equipment. Most recently I put in my solar build to run a security camera.

Cercavo un POE passivo gigabit. Se ne trovano tanti a basso costo ma non sono gigabit. Questo invece lo è, funziona bene, è dotato di uno spinotto standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm per l'alimentazione. Rccomandato

Es producto se corresponde con la descripción, es un inyector POE pasivo de pequeñas dimensiones y buena calidad de fabricación, esta construido en plástico y tiene unas pequeñas petallas para poderlo atornillar y que quede fijado, dispone de dos puertos ethernet (RJ45), uno para inyección POE y otro para la entrada de red, tiene un conector de alimentación DC de 2,1 mm x 5,5 mm y un pequeño led verde que indica si hay corriente eléctrica. Funciona con una tensión continua de entre 12-48v y 1A, la fuente de alimentación no esta incluida. Tampoco incluye ningún tipo de instrucciones. Lo he usado para alimentar un cámara de videovigilancia a 12V 1A, a unos 15 metros de distancia y hasta ahora ningún tipo de problema. Para mayores distancias es posible que no funcione correctamente a esta tensión. Lo que me a gustado: - Es de pequeñas dimensiones - Buena calidad de fabricación. Lo que podría mejorar: - Que se incluyeran algunas instrucciones en español. - El precio es aceptable, aunque por ser un producto simple que carece de demasiados componentes electrónicos, estaría bien un poco más barato. C'est parfait pour un POE

Le 12V PoE est une grande théorie qui ne fonctionne qu'en laboratoire où sur de courtes distances... Une camera Foscam à 30m ne trouvait pas suffisamment de puissance avec cette chose étrange, alors qu'à bout portant, tout fonctionne parfaitement... Remplacé par un vrai injecteur 48V après avoir testé ces choses sur moult équipements avec la même déception générale.
