Pili Hunters - Expedition Butter - Pili-Hazelnut Butter Spread (6oz. Jar) Keto/Paleo/Vegan, Low Carb Energy, Ketogenic Fat, Ketosis Superfood, Gluten/Soy/Dairy Free

The pure ingredients, low carbs, and my love of pili nuts drew me to try this nut butter. I love the texture- no pool of oil, no dry cakey bits- texture is perfect and spreadable. I find the flavor delicious however the coconut flavor from the oil does compete with the pili nut flavor in my opinion. Not a problem for me at all since I like coconut, but something to be aware of.

The nut-butter is great, slightly chunky (I prefer to smooth), and is delicious. I don't know why it's packed in coconut oil? Why not packed in its own Pili oil? This was my first Pili butter purchase and will definitely purchase more, but still doing research on Pili-butter options.

I absolutely love this nut butter! I first sampled it at Keto Con in Austin, TX and fell in love! I bought a jar there and brought it home with me and quickly devoured it lol. I just repurchased it through amazon and can't wait to try other flavors! I've been eating a ketogenic diet/lifestyle for 2 1/2 years now and this will definitely be a new staple. It's not overly sweet like some products. It has an amazing taste, salty with a touch of sweet with some hazelnut flavor!

I agree with the other 1 star review. This is essentially a coconut butter, even though pili is listed as the first ingredient. The taste is very pleasant, but it is overwhelmingly a coconut taste. It is quite expensive for a tiny bottle, so if you are looking for a pili-nut flavor, look elsewhere.

I liked the taste and the texture. worked well on keto bread toast. Very hard unless at room temp. Not special enough for me at $15 for a small jar.

I love the flavor of this stuff. I also love the fact that one tablespoon in the afternoon instead of lunch gets me through till dinner. Very satiating, very satisfying. I don't understand why they say to refrigerate it because it gets hard as a rock, so I've been leaving it in my cupboard so that it's spoonable. I have not had trouble with it going rancid or anything and I'm on my third jar. I don't think it has to be refrigerated - if you were going on a hike and taking it with you, you wouldn't be able to refrigerate it, so I don't understand that particular direction. Otherwise, I love it.

The flavor could be duplicated by putting a tiny bit of [peanut] meal in some [solidified ] coconut oil that has had most of the coconut aroma removed. Dont get me wrong.. any of us could tell the actual difference but the flavor isnt truly unique or intense or .. special or cherishable. Its just not some exotic expensive flavor. At this price, only some IBS and nut allergy folks will ever order twice. The smallish jar size reminds me of cold cream jar size my spouse uses. Not much in it.

Similar to what you would expect if Nutella was made with Dark Chocolate. Nice dark chocolate flavor. Make sure you stir first to make spreading easier. The cooler the jar is the thicker the contents. Spread on a plain rice cake for a nice KETO treat & for a touch of sweetness chop up some of their Carny Dough or Pumpkin Spice Pili nuts. Stir a spoonful into coffee for a mocha flavor & add a touch of cream.
